  • I love it .... even if I sold these I wouldnt swing a shovel at my car like that to demonstrate the product... well done dude.

  • Too bad most door dings happen in parking lots where the all the mounting hardware you provide for hanging your product from the ceiling is not feasible. I tend to be very careful while moving in my garage around my 190,000 mile $4,000 Chevy truck. if i had a $92,000 Saleen looking car in my garage I would have a nice garage where i could open my doors all the way and have room to move still. and if i am to be swinging large objects in said garage...said car would be in my driveway.

  • 20,000 doller car , dont flatter ur self with a nsx but sweet product

  • Door dings mostly happen in parking lots by strangers who don't give a damn about your car. If your own wife is dining your car in your own garage, get a new wife.

  • Wow I wouldn't even do that if i had a door pal

  • This does work my uncle has 2 of them! Im considering buying one too.

  • Why would anyone swing there shovel at there car? lol

  • I dont see why everyone is giving this guy such a hard time, if u have a garage like mine there are support poles in my garage on both sides of where you park and it would be easy to have a door slip and bounce into one of them, if the product dosent apply to your life then fine but dont be an ass about it . . .

  • I would have creased up if he,d had miss that plastic sheet!!

  • so if i were to put these all over my car, no matter how fast an incoming car comes and crashes into me. I won't have a single ding? damn! these need to be on EVERY CAR

  • Can we please stop riding this guy? The invention hangs from the ceiling in your garage so when someone opens their door and hits your car, it won't hurt it. He made an invention and is obviously making money off of it. I don't see any of you doing that...

  • lol that is awsome

  • wow, this is actually real. personally, i found it as a joke at first. however, it actually makes quite a bit of sense. i wouldn't buy one, because i park outside, but yeah. pretty clever.

  • What is wrong with these people and their negativity. Anyone that posts these comments are surely between the ages of 12 and 16....and if they're older...well....let's just hop they're not. Viperjock - excellent product and congratulations on your success.

  • Thanks dursk. Billy Mays agreed to look at DoorPal, in fact the sample which was sent UPS to his office in Florida was delivered days before he passed away.

  • Can't be that stupid. Thousands have sold to serious car collectors. They trust their investment to DoorPal.

  • Thanks

  • Thanks muffinman! You too obviously get it.

  • See posts above. A pool float would never take the daily abuse. Trust me I tried it.

  • Thanks lazylank. Obviously you get it.

  • Anyone out there willing to donate there Lambo?

  • see above

  • If it's junk why are they selling so well. Many of my customers are doctors, lawyers and CEOs of major companies. Surely these well educated car aficionado know a good product when they see one.

  • you could just be more careful when opening your car door....

  • It's not me that I'm worried about it's others.

  • ha will it protect like will it blend love it

  • nice nsx

  • you should try swinging the shovel sideways, see how well that material protects it then

  • how about u hit it with the side of the shovel?

  • "... a real metal shovel, with real dirt..." Haha LOL

  • exotic car?? haha far from it

  • nice

  • where did this idiot get a honda nsx??

  • From selling thousands of DoorPal's, a product that truly works.

  • From selling thousands of DoorPals.

DoorPal is in plenty of homes protecting Ferrari's, Porches, BMW and more. This idiot is proud to say DoorPal is a quality product that serves a purpose. I love my invention and so do others. Customers vote everyday when they order.

  • all honesty u cant swing close to probily 30 mph lol

a nsx isnt worth 90Grand. lol

  • Actually NSX had a MSRP of 92K and well worth it.

  • Or you could not be an idiot and watch what you're doing.....

  • Not me I am worried about, it's others.

  • We all watch what you're doing..... it's the others.

  • Try hitting the car with the shovel where the DoorPal is in direct contact with the vehicle... not where the indentation for the scoop is... this way the force isnt spread over the rest of the contact surface. Then maybe I wouldnt think it was another useless item.

  • See other videos, been there done that, still no damage.

  • Feel free to look at the other YouTube videos including one by Fox News Deal or Dud. You will see regardless of where you hit the car, DoorPal works.

  • use a shotgun!! =0

  • You got me there! DoorPal won't stop a shotgun, but if someone is shooting at me with a shotgun, I don't plan on staying around.

  • is that an NSX?

  • Yes it is 2005 model the last year they were made.

  • Yes it is a 2005 model. So much fun to drive.

  • dont ever do that to an nsx....ever

  • I would never do anything to harm a car on purpose. I am so sure DoorPal works I am 100% secure hitting my own car any day anytime anywhere as long as DoorPal is there.

  • what is the meaning of this device? you strap it all over your car?

  • You hang it in your garage from the ceiling or the wall.

  • man thats a sweet nsx

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks DieselDemon18. You have great taste.

  • doorpal saved my marriage!

  • can I show you how to hit?

  • Sure. Bring it on, you still won't damage the car.

  • im sorry but im callin bs.. 1 because wen he was swingin at the pad the pad wasnt even aginst the car.. it was at least 6inches away.. 2 because that the simple fact of inerta.. i mean the shock delivered to that plastic while its against the car will definitly ding or dent the car

  • I beg to disagree. Watch any of my YouTube videos, Doorpal protects the car regardless of how close of far DoorPal is to the car.

  • stupid

  • I beg to differ. How can this be stupid if thousands of DoorPals have been sold?

DoorPal is in plenty of homes protecting Ferrari's, Porches, BMW and more. I'm proud to say DoorPal is a quality product that serves a purpose. I love my invention and so do others. Customers vote everyday when they order.

  • NSX?

  • Yes a 2005 model. It is so much fun to drive.

  • is this serius?

  • Thousands of happy customers vote everyday when they order, so yes this is serious.

  • Your asking us to find a way to hang a toy raft from the celing> YOU DID WOW good job big boy your the best...NOT> and also there are many adhesives out there able to do the job!

  • Your asking us to find a way to hang a raft from the celing> YOU DID WOW good job big boy your the best...NOT!t> and also there are many adhesives out there able to do the job!

  • Disappointing from someone with the name Nissan240SX. I had a '72 240z it was one of the best cars I have owned. DoorPal is everything but a raft. A raft would never sand up to this type of daily punishment, in a hot or cold garage where a regular raft would crack. I have tried every adhesive out there from Velcro to Gorrilla glue. None will give you the safety release feature or the durability of DoorPal.. DoorPal seems simple, but the zero return rate tells me it is made tough not like a raft

  • i came to see this get destroyed!

  • Sorry to let you down.

  • Only if terrorists use shovels instead of rifles....

  • Okay, now hit it with a pickaxe.

  • Please see the NBS Deal or Dud video, they tried and failed. DoorPal can handle the punishment.

  • great more shit in my garage! but no its pretty cool

  • It's only 3.25 inched thick.

  • Because an Honda NSX is exotic right ?

  • Yes.

  • What do you think we are fools the panel isnt even touching the car door it's clearly 1 foot away from the door and you can see the impact on the plastc panel Fail

  • See the other videos, there is nothing to hide. Regardless of where or how you hit the car, DoorPal works.

  • i like the 290hp nsx. 92,000 dollar hmh i spent 15,000 on my h22 prelude and would LOVVVVVVE to race you :) 649bhp, 281Ft/Tq. lol old farts with slow cars ;)

  • You win with 629bhp no question. Yes 15,000 is a much better deal, but regardless it's all about enjoying the ride. You like yours I like mine, we both win.

  • UR A PRICK

  • I have sold thousands do if chasing the great American dream and making a product that actually serves a purpose and works makes me a prick, then I am proud to be a prick.

  • Hey man is that car a acura nsx???

  • Sure is. it's a 2005 model. Love it.

  • hehe, try hiting wish sharpe side...

  • See the other videos, I did that and it still protects

  • that is not an aluminum door. aluminum is too expensive to use all over the car. probably some sort of composite plastic door . which is more dent resistant.

  • I respectfully disagree. The NSX body is 100% aluminum

  • There is one reason this product sucks. It doesn't protect in a parking lot where your car is more likely to get dinged.

  • I never claim it will protect your car in a parking lot, it is meant for your garage.

  • bad ass nsx

  • Thanks!

  • 92 THOUSAND DOLLAR CAR? I'm sorry, that is an NSX, nowhere close to that. Great car though, you have good taste

  • 2005 model, actually the sticker was 92K

  • only downfall is you have to have a giant piece of metal hanging right in the middle of your garage....

  • That's a Nice NSX you got there :)

  • Thank OlafurArons

  • try hitting it with the edge mof the shovel.

and who mwould put that chunk of plastic on a car? you'd get laughed at! XD

  • See the other videos, side of shovel still can't hurt DoorPal. FYI it's for use in your garage,

  • Nice product...... you should try contacting billy maze or the shamwow guy to market it for you!!! :) (Serious, not being sarcastic)

  • Shitty product.

  • I think it's safe to say thousands of satisfied customers have voted otherwise with their wallets, so your comment is bogus.

  • So wen u buy this what do u do? U like tape it to the door or something?

  • DoorPal comes with all the hardware you need to hang it from the garage ceiling between two cars or from the garage door.

  • Is this real? A pool toy?

  • This is real. A pool toy it is not. A pool toy would never stand up to the daily abuse DoorPal handles.

  • so could i strap some of those to a hummer and be indestructable in a war?

  • well yeah, in the enemy is attacking you with shovels!!

  • Why not just make cars out of the doorpal?

  • what about the edge of a shovel??

  • Ok.....you take a pool toy raft, figure out how to hang it from the ceiling, park the car or in your case a truck, next to it and swing at it with a shovel. Please be sure to video tape this, so we can see your shovel go right through the raft and into your mommy's truck.

  • If it can withstand the impact from a shovel it can protect you car door from the force of another car door.

  • When i enter the national guard and get my mustang i will be sure to order a pair. and maybe could you think about creating car covers that are cat proof...

  • dude, its a freakin pool air matress, you could do the same thing with a pool toy from canadian tire

  • An inflatable raft isn't practical or safe. Most rafts are 12" thick, to keep a person afloat & dry. Car garages are small to begin with, put an inflatable waterbed between two cars and on each wall & you just made your garage 3ft. smaller. DoorPal's profile is only 4.5", it won't get in your way or take up much room. Inflatable rafts don't have resistance channels to absorb shock. I don't recommend trying the shovel trick with an inflatable raft, it will cause damage to car doors.

  • One more challenge with a raft; there is nowhere to attach ropes in order to hang it between cars. Duct tape, Velcro, super glue, resin and hot glue won't work. DoorPal has welded reinforced attachment points. DoorPal also has a safety release so it won't pull out from the ceiling and cause damage to you or your car(s).

  • That looks stupid!

  • Nice..and is that car worth 92,000

  • try it with the shovel turned 45 degrees

  • the flat part of the shovl ye... but what about the edge of it... same force but with less surface area of the shovel would equate to more force on protecting panel right? and therefor would reach the car door panel... I would like to see him try the edge of the shovel and see if the product really works...

  • LMFAO you would do that with a Acura NSX :P

  • Thanks!

  • ohhhhh wait its for your GARAGE!!!! ohhhhhhhh k clearly im the idiot here. sorry! lol

  • Hit that car and lets see how it holds up... obviously it will fail, otherwise he would have hit the actual door. That test was on something 3x bigger than the surface of the door. So far this ad fails. I would not buy it. Better to fix a ding for $20 than buy something that will still dent for hundreds more.. dont forget about the other few hundred to install it all!! Another waste of money for your car... then when it breaks have fun replacing it! Hit the DOOR and I might believe this works!

  • should test it out proper and go park in shopping centre, like UK Tesco's or Sainsbury's and see how long it protects against other idiots and kids swinging car doors wide open onto the car next to it. at least we know if we had somebody who wanted to swing a shovel at our cars it's well protected...

  • the should make cars outa this stuff good shit dude

  • Also forgot, nice product. :P

  • good idea.

looks like a pool floaty with caution tape around it tho lol.

buy hey if it saved my car.

i wouldnt care if it looked like barney and snoopy makin love lol

  • How much? i could really use 1 cuz at my garage, evry time i have to use the lift in my bay, i have to close the garage door...well sometimes i kinda forget to close the door...this would help a bunch...

  • lol i hit my car with a shovel all the time, this is a must have!!!

  • lol, i laughed for 2 minutes after i read your comm :))

  • thats pretty cool, would you just use it if it was in like a garage or something, thats a really cool invention.

  • poor NSX, still took its risk

  • haha :D

  • That's a pretty cool product

  • Thank you!

  • Would it react like that if you used the sharp side of the shovel too? If yeah, than congrats.

  • Thanks, yes it will.

  • DoorPal works on ceilings too:-)

  • An NSX isn't what you would call exotic....

  • This is not a mean spirited response, just a fun one:-)

    Here is a good test:

    (1) Get one (an NSX) yourself, brand new or used I don't care);

    (2) Smash the door in without a DoorPal, take the car to a Acura approved NSX bodyshop;

    (3) Look at the quote from the bodyshop;

    (4) Now, tell me if it is an exotic or not:-)

  • good point

  • Gotta agree, this is still a honda no matter how you look at it. However no doubt Acura would quote a hefty sum to replace a door (that way they can look like they sell better cars than they do) Nice product though! Seems like a good idea...

  • Good luck with it!

  • so the word destroying is a bit misleading then?

Does it really work if you try it with the side of the shovel, or if you drive another vehicle into it?

  • Yes it will work with the side of the shovel. See the Part 2 video, DoorPal stops the abuse of a shovel even with a direct hit from the blade side.

It will not stop a vehicle from driving into another vehicle, but that is not the stated or intended purpose of DoorPal. It prevents dings, dents and scratched from swinging doors, not from car collisions.

  • i would have cried for hours if it didnt work

  • i like ya acura NSX

  • Yes, 2005.

  • Let's see you protect that door from a wrecking ball going at full swing!

Just kidding, this is actually a pretty innovative product with a lot of uses. Just think, when you go camping you could take it down and go rafting...

Maybe something could be made similar to the DoorPal that would provide protection to the front or rear of a vehicle when pulling into a garage.

  • I hope you have a patent on this or its up for grabs...

  • It's fully patented and trademarked in the USA,Canada and Europe.

  • Facts are friendly.

Check out the other video "Destroying a $92,000 Exotic Car with a Shovel Pt.2 the Blade." You will see direct strikes with the blade of the shovel, DoorPal still protects.

  • dont hit it with the flat side of the shovel and see what happens.

  • See the other video "Destroying a $92,000 Exotic Car with a Shovel Pt.2 the Blade." DoorPal is demonstrated with direct hits from the blade of the shovel, the product still stands up to the abuse.

  • This should be made into something that covers the entire car. I think there's a huge market for that!

  • Thanks for the feedback!

DoorPal is 100" long which is enough to provide coverage for all four doors on a large SUV like a Hummer H2, Expedition or Suburban.

  • what a great idea! I know lots of guys who would sleep better at night if they had this in their garage. : )

  • Thanks terrigtx. There is one guy who trusts his 2005 Viper and an ORIGINAL 1966 Shelby Hertz car to DoorPal. You can see the cars at the doorpal dot com website under the testimonial section. The Mustang is worth over $225,000 and he has no worries with door dings.

  • That is awesome! You can just swing your car door and get our worry free. Great idea.

  • In addition a raft won't withstand the extremes of winter and summer and the daily abuse of car doors slamming into it. A raft will crack, burst or fall apart. DoorPal was engineered to withstand abuse everyday with 16 gauge thick walls & a custom iBeam construction for strength. See doorpal dot com for more.

  • I saw that when you were swinging the shovel, you were hitting the Doorpal with the flat side of the shovel. What would happen if you hit the device with the shovel's edge? I wonder if you could put up a video with you hitting the Doorpal as I stated above?

  • Done!

  • What is so different about this product than using two cheap inflatable rafts sandwiched around a sheet of corrugated aluminum.
