I was hoping someone could help me. I was at their show the day after this one in Medford, Oregon 1-1-94 and I'm trying to find Any audio or video from that show. Someone did upload a youtube video of them playing live with that date, but he obviously mislabeled it because his video was them in Germany. Anyways.. Thank you Curmodgeon, Your channel is by far the best collection out their and thank you to anyone that can help me out. :)
It was Bobcat that came down from the ceiling. Kurt was breaking his balls and calling him Pauly. Bobcat would open for Nirvana with a standup act. When Nirvana was about to get on stage Kurt told Bobcat "that was old material, dont you have any new stuff?" Then Bobcat replied "Ill write new jokes and you write a new album" Then he said "Thats it Kurt I'm done, why dont you call Pauly Shore or somebody else". Kurt and Bobcat were friends and was just joking with eachother.
damn kurt cobain's last new years was in oakland how cool is that? i wonder if he hit up e.14th for a quick bag and a quick ripper lol u know he did he wasn't wit courtney on new years he had to do somethin fun...somewhere someones got footage of him ridin down foothill slappin too short i'm a player smokin a stoag and then makin pat smear get out and hit the track for wearin a skirt that night lol u know damn well that's exactly how it went down!!! lol kurt really don't care...cuz he's a player
@lexgw nah that was deliberate. If you look around here, you'll find Bobcat talk about this gig. Basically Bobcat joked that if Kurt wasn't happy with his stuff, he should get Pauly Shore.
I've had this concert on CD since '94 I think, and I never thought to look for a video from the show until now. I always wondered if Pauly Shore was really there or not; guess he was!
