  • Awesome stuff. Doug Rocked.

  • AHHHHHHHH.........takes me back to HIGH SCHOOL.....them good old daze.........

  • lol @ that harmonica

  • WTF ! this is like soft porn, that's not the tempo of the song ! They slowed the tempo down & they look nothing like the album cover. What happened to that Jeff Lynn (ELO) curly hair. 60's pin size ties. I had this on Record (Jr High/High) .

What a turn in time. 1979, was the death of disco, & the birth of New Wave/ Ska . The Prelude of what would be come Rap.

The album was a bible to being a male teenager.

  • @FEdeRioBravo The album was a bible to being a male teenager. AMEN I was a member of that church as well.

  • R.I.P. Doug Fieger.

  • 240p... we meet again.

  • Sorry, but most of the time 'good girls' do! It's a matter of chemistry and we are all filled with a lot of volatile chemicals just waiting to explode.

  • Some great music. The Knack RIP

  • esto es del año 2001

  • Sorry, "Douche."

  • redshadlizard, you're a douch. If you keep perpetuating the "my music is better than yours" BS you are no different. Good is good, and it ALL should be played. Snoop is just as good as this, so deal with it and dislodge the branch.

  • and it hurts? :o

  • I DO!

  • I still have the original "Get The Knack" LP that my brother purchased new in 79 (still in near mint condition), as well as recently acquiring the original 45 single. The single version changes the lyrics to "wishing she was giving you a chance" in the first verse, and "when she puts you in your place / til she puts you in your place" at the end of each bridge.

  • i forgot how nasty this song was. no wonder my grandmother didn't want me to listen to it. but it was a lot of fun then and still is

  • Best song on the album! RIP guys....

  • Songs like these will be buried while Snoop dodggie shit is raved. Sad.

  • @redshadlizard Snoop is a proper artist. Think about it a rapper staying famous for 20+ years...

  • @redshadlizard By who?Are u giving up because idiots run the media,u expect anyone to think like u?that's a dreamer

  • Not the original drummer but he is awesome

  • @golyg he sucks listen to his kick drum playing. Its all off. FAIL!

  • Wow ... I haven't heard this one since the summer after HS graduation. I remember there was a "cleaned up" version the AM stations played . This one was the FM version.

  • bought the album for a quarter in the used bin and played the shit out of it. One of the hottest bands of the era! RIP Doug Fieger and Bruce Gary. And the "soul patch" was actually called an 'imperial". FYI

  • @mojo82

Doug Fieger and Bruce Gary are both dead? wow I never heard that.

  • @SotR59 Gary died a few years back and Doug died back if Feb of 2010

  • the drummer takes over at 1:16

  • Doug was one in a billion.

  • check out the douche bags soul patch at 1:43

  • This song rocks and brings back lots and lots of memories. LOL.

    RIP Doug.

  • RIP Doug.

  • Alas, we lost Doug today. :(

  • These guys can still rock....one of my favorite songs EVER! Just heard Doug Feiger is ill. Hoping you get well soon, Doug. We Knack fans need you around for a loooooong time to come.
