My school was going to play this but due to time constraints and marching band is going into concert season we couldn't do it. I play bassoon, 2nd part, and it's almost the identical trills (towards the end) that the pics and flutes have. It was quite difficult if i do say so myself.

Some of the parts were WAY too fast, but I think this was a fine job overall. One of the better recordings on this site.

One of the better performances and interpretations of this piece on youtube. A bit rushed through 2:10-2:20; one of the more beautiful sections of the piece. Would have liked those harmonies to linger for several seconds and not rushed through.This piece deserves to be played only by those who can handle it. Good job!

diz is just a preliminary round..

at diz tyme,diz school hadnt show a good sound bt can b accepted..mayb u all can listen 2 da final round..has a lot of improvement on dat day..da balancing is more improve than diz..or can b say,evrythng is improve~

Good job. My high school Wind Ensemble is playing this right now. its a good song to see how good ur clarinets are. and i love alfred reed music, he makes you think.

funny story actually. we were pplaying it our concert and we messed up halfway through the song. everybody got messed up. but then, out of nowhere, we all came back together. lol we say it was a christmas miracle.

Great job guys, trombones were amazing, well i'm a trombonist so i usaul think their the best, but all around this is a really good live recording.
