Let me just say that this skit COMPLETELY BLOWS MY MIND! Thank you to all you cosplayers who did this! The choreography is amazing and the concept is wonderful! Because of you people I have watched Revolutionary Girl Utena, fell in LOVE with ALL the characters, downloaded the soundtrack, and gathered a group to cosplay Utena, Anthy, and Akio. Thank You. I've seen so many Utena skits (including the one that I performed in back at Fanime Con 2002), and this is by far, the most beautiful one I have ever seen in my life. I absolutely love the choreography. They must've worked really hard during rehearsal, and it shows. Great job, guys! :)

And I loved the guy squeeing about Lady Ava. Okay, some people find it annoying, but come ON! Hearing someone that gleeful and excited about something is awesome. There're too many morose, hateful people on the Internet anyways; it's a nice change. Anime is all about getting enthused and enjoying some together.

...and this skit WAS just that great. Seriously, color guard, Utena, great outfits, nice acting, great timing, AND nobody dropped the flags/weapons? Perfection.

I know. We actually left right before this skit, and we were in the back room (there wasn't enough space for us in the main room), and someone kept shouting really mean stuff at the video screen whenever the hostess came on. The jokes were bad, the concept was bad, and she was begging people to hate her.

That was outstanding! The beginning had some minor out of sync problems, but it didn't take away from the performance! I loved the outfits (OH they were awesome), the choreography (I can only imagine how much work done and hours spent on it), the timing, everything.

...this should have so many more views than it currently has. 5/5.

Hehe. Its Touga from the film. (actually, its me. ^^) It was a choice I made for aesthetic purposes. That...and I'm not a fan of the TV show version. Besides, with Dios in white, we wanted to distinguish between the two in a clear way. ^_^ The wig is a darker tone under the stage lights. I really didn't want his normal fire engine red hair.

You rarely see RGU skits at cons, and good ones no less. At first, i thought it was going to be just a flag-twirling skit, but it proved to be more than just that. The cosplays were great (LOVE the Shadow Girls!), it was well-choreographed, and it told a story. This is the best Utena skit I've ever seen, and props to all the performers that introduced such a classic anime to a new audience.
