  • Oh give me Death in Venice instead of death on Clapham Common... Give me Mahler instead of Bach.... Give me a nice young gay rights of passage film with a happy ending, which will still make all us old queers cry... sans the fucking violence, please!

  • This movie is so sad. Omg crying right now!!!!

  • love the song in the end !

  • what were they thinking by doing this movie!! It is stereotypical and gives a really negative image on the gay community. But it was good nonetheless. I'm confused. I liked and didn't like it at the same time..

  • Thanks for posting this wonderfully haunting film. Other than the poor men who got bashed throughout the movie, I felt most sorry for Gavin, especially at the end when he realized Will had probably been up to something, on their wedding day no less.

  • Is it a crime to want agay movie with a happy ending because I've only seen three so far

  • Young gay here really wishing part 5 way around X3 I see this movie as a more of a watch out for yourself it isn't always safe out there kind of movie you just never know what can happen and this could help us take precautions to protect ourselves. I am still going to move to England in 2 years this didn't scare me away anyways thank you for posting such a wonderful movie

  • Okay maybe that was well meant, but actually I think movies like this help noone. They scare the shit out of young gays and make it seem that this is normal. I think it is even possible that a hooligan sees this film and thinks "okay let's go a little gay bashing cause everybody does it."

This film contributes to an atmosphere of hate, fear and desperation and in my opinion it is harmful to everyone. The topic could have been portrayed a lot better.

  • dead*

  • Wait! What happened to the guy that would beat up this victims? Who was the guy that was found dad and the other guy who almost cry seeing it? The black kid died or something, right? TELL ME! pleaseeeeeee ! D:

  • its so sad that, as the film producer at the start of the movie, that the "gay thing" is not the trend anymore, that it has seemingly come a long way in the way it is accepted in society, yet the same ill treatment is still being afforded to homosexuals...

  • thank you for making this movie.

  • Goddamned YouTube for not allowing this entire movie to be uploaded to their site ! Beside the fact that this is a movie that SHOULD be seen by the public at large because it does portray what gay men do go through more often than not (and I speak from well beaten experience), this movie is well written and shows that gay men and women really do have to be careful when it comes to sudden encounters with someone of the same sex that may want to hurt you. I wish it weren't true, but sadly it is.

  • This looked to be a promising movie but damn was it violent. Way too much gay bashing. Very uncomfortable. Beginning was good.

  • @dazedgal It's supposed to be uncomfortable. Remember at start, Robin tries to sell TV channel on a gay themed film & executive basically says, 'Gay is old hat. Everyone accepts them. No real problems.' Film answers that common attitude & I think does so extremely well. Vin

  • @queerflix It didn't occur to me to notice the irony with all that was going on. Thanks for pointing it out.

  • @dazedgal I agree - horrible violence. Very pessimistic flick ultimately.

  • Sad. All the way around. Not an uplifting film.

  • @junjoucrush87 like ever character has their separate lives, they are not connected that's why it's hard to figure it out. i was lost for like half of the movie...lol

  • I was lost at the start but i figured it out. The end was really sad

  • i'm actually quite lost lol..i know who theo and tim are but i don't get who the other people are and whatnot lol

  • Thank you very much for uploading this movie,. I lived in UK for 2years, cruising at Queens park in Glasgow, never felt a single fear, now I've seen the movie, it's like OMG, I am blessed nothing happened to me, thinking I am Asian too!!! Gosh gave me a fear now,.

  • Great movie with a lot of flaws in it. A lot of characters and sub-stories for such little time. Holes in the story, unconcluded stories and everything was kind of weird. Great topics, but sadly wasted in the storyline.

  • Fuck off sad ending....

  • I'm kind of sick of how movies about minorities (gays, women etc.) are often either depressing and hopeless or, well, stupid and "harmless" fluff. YES we're still being treated like shit, but if you look at basically all the movies with straight guys in the leading roles (so so many), they can be treated like complete shit throughout most of the movie for whatever reason, but they fight back and almost always come out as winners in the end. We need movies like that to gather strength from.

  • @lissheim I've always wanted to see a movie where the gaybash victim hunts down his bashers & lets them have it. I think it would be a BIG hit on the gay scene. Especially if at the end he gets away with it on a flimsy technicality in court JUST like the straight gaybashers do in real life.. Like a complete turn of the tables.Would be GREAT!

  • wait.. this was on on an actual network??? Why can't I live in the UK!?? :(

  • @imaginaryboii Hi, Yes. Channel 4 (UK) is superb & has made/commissioned many terrific gay films & programming. Vin

  • What happened to the black kid...?

  • @waterbender6 Hi, They leave the specifics unknown, we only see his smashed violin & know there was an attempted gay bashing at best. The danger of being 'different' is still there & from those kids hanging out across from where he takes lessons, he's a target, but when the teacher expresses concern, he won't talk about it. Vin

  • It was so beautiful and so sad..Have to watch it again, because there are so many interesting characters and connections between them. Loved the film <3

  • Can't tell how much I hate his stupid mother.. what a drama queen! How sad was that!? Oh my God! That love scene was too intense... never seen nothing like it, it was pure love and desire. How is it illegal? He knows what he's doing for god's sake! Go and arrest all of the priests who rape little innocent children... not teenagers who fall in love!

  • @DCLsMusic Hi, The story of Theo & Tim is the most tortured, intense, moving love scene I've ever seen on film. Illegal? Theo a very mature, aggressive, guy, certain of who he is & what he wants. They say he's almost 15. Not long to wait with UK age of consent at 16. But with that bitch mother, Tim is in real legal danger & hope they wait until Theo is 16. Vin

  • My god what such a depressing movie! As the most of gays movies...

  • Good acting, but very depressing. i mean of course there are dark part of lives... gay or straight but seeing all at once made me sad and hopeless :(

  • @jbyxxx Depressing. That's the point. At beginning, Robin trying to sell 'gay script' & straight producer says, 'We've done the gay stuff. Gays are accepted now, just another minority. No concern about gays.' Park at 'Clapham Junction' is big cruising area & film keys on location & gay bashing & fear intrinsic there, to tell intertwined stories refuting TV producer (read popular perception) which is wrong 'all is not well at all'. Superb film, important viewpoint & complex issues remain. Vin

  • @queerflix Well, I agree with you..These are the things all happening, in all big cities, but some nice things are happening, too: such as meeting a cute boy in the park etc.Otherwise nobody would take this risk.So that's a reality, too. So what I would like to say is that there are 2 side of it.By the way thanks for your uploads.I enjoy them since yesterday :)

  • Wow. Amazing, beautiful, heart-breaking, changing, emotional, and true. Thank you.

  • My god that was depressing. I go to the movies to forget about that side of things.

  • Thank you so much for the upload of this movie. It was heart-felt and heart-breaking. So emotional especially 5/7. It was a beautifully made movie about a very sad but real topic. It always seems that most movies made about being gay have sad endings. It would be nice if every once in a while an ending would be more positive, I guess one could say. Life is so hard already, sometimes a happier ending would be nice; I know it's not realistic but one can hope. Anyways, thanks again. LOL

  • Omg it was such a good movie but really sad considering that most of it happens in real life

  • Great movie, but that ending. Nobody comes out a winner.
