  • RUN GIRL!!!

  • What a tough break for Larry...he finds out that Sue doesn't want to hear about Engineering...only Orchestras.

  • Whn she looked his chezzy dick....she said HIIIIIIIIIK...lol

  • So she's using her education money for her wedding? Wow, brain-dead much?

  • That advice is still true today. That exact advice was given in my psychology course in college.

  • Mystery Science Theater 3000. Find this, watch it, laugh your ass off.

  • Larry is a jerk.

  • "BOING", it's a technical term.

  • Marriage is the price men pay for sex and sex is the price women pay for marriage. Marriage is EVIL!!!

  • @terentii hey who says thats a bad price LOL

  • @invaderpink You know the difference between seducing a woman and just paying for sex? Just paying for sex is usually cheaper!

  • @terentii so not true! i'm married so I should know ;)

  • @indiag89 Different strokes for different folks....

  • sue looks like jane from Coupling. i think the people who are criticizing this film are focusing too much on details that were relevant when the film was made; obviously some of the ideas about men and women are outdated, it was made in the 1950s! but the overall message is, i think, very pertinent to modern times. people get married for the wrong reasons all the time, and i agree with the minister: similar backgrounds and a solid base in friendship are important aspects of a good marriage.

  • @moony239 very very true

  • @moony239 The basics, yes. But it's still fun to ridicule the outdated bits... ;)

  • Mr. Hall and his high-tech Playskool people and rubber bands!

  • woman went to schooll to find the guy they were going to marry

  • To be fair, plenty of people have to give up their education and get jobs

  • wow... she's getting married so she doesn't care about education anymore? astounding what was considered the norm at one time.

  • @LOAblue Yeah. It's not normal for a woman to compete with a man. Astounding what's considered the norm at this time. Here's a clue: no era is completely normal. The 50s, however, are a good demonstration of strong families.

  • @EvilsOfFeminism No era is completely normal... but not "normal" for a woman to compete with a man? compete with him how? having as much or more education as him?

  • @LOAblue Educated in what, exactly? Women have always been educated. Men have always been educated. There just wasn't cookie-cutter education before. Such things are only possible in a fluffy, imaginary technological world. Do you even think women would be driving if men hadn't made the automatic starter? The fact is that women and men couldn't be cross-educated, because that's what it really is. Perhaps everyone will get it when civilization collapses again.

  • we're gonna pay for the weddng with her college money! she won't be a needin that no more.

  • FUCK YOU

    WHERE'S PART TWO ?!

  • It's gone! Where'd it Go???????

  • I love that being good friends is number 2 on 'Cupid's Checklist', behind having similar backgrounds. It was even funnier that the prospective bride and groom didn't think to point out that maybe that order should be reversed... thanks for the cute and funny short!

  • Boing!

  • The best part of this video is Larry's eagerness to commit. So many guys (and some girls, too) today are like big kids, putting off any major commitment until they're over 30. They just want to party, spend money on going out, play video games, and live selfishly. At least Larry is trying to marry her instead of convince her to give up her virginity to him with no promises on his part.

  • Yippee

  • Yippee

  • but I dont want wanna marry a girl like me HA HA, what an idiot stay in school hunny

  • I watch this video every 6 months, I love it. Mystery Science Theater makes it ten times better though.

  • Don't leave that man out in the cold, warm him in your bed :)

  • omg you're like 18 would it kill you to wait two years? it's really not that long -_-'

I think the problem is that they can't wait to get it on *bow chika wa wow*

  • 3 months? if that marriage guy was around today he would be a divorce guy lol!

  • getting married straight out of high school!

  • people belived that you have if you love this guy or not that housewife feel like pull there hair scremer shut -up

  • nigga plz he justs wants to marry this bitch to bang her!

  • Ladies Rule #1: Don't marry a guy who has to borrow a car to get married.

  • @RobertGary1 LOL :op

  • @RobertGary1 true! : D

  • ...So they went and saw the professional buzzkiller.

  • Wow this film opens with a bang.

  • when they are so young, its not love, its lust.

  • i think background and differences don't matter too much. i like to think not having the same opinions is rather charming

  • My husband is an engineer and I don't understand it either, but we've been married over 28 years!

  • @mrsd81km haha, that was my favorite part!

  • 8:10 A love appeal that hits you sort of.... BOING!

  • "I don't want to marry a girl like me, I want to marry a man like Larry." Gee, that must be good news to Larry.

  • what if Larry likes twins?

  • @canlitgal haha!

  • It's gone! Where'd it go?!

  • they're so random! lol

  • "I don't know Larry"

  • This was produced way back in 1950, as part of Coronet's "educational" series of "instructional films" for classrooms across the nation- this one aimed at high school students wondering whether to take that "big step in life"....

  • What a treat! Thanks for posting. :)
