You're probably better off doing an SAS if you want reliability. You'll be replacing ball joints every year and rotating tires every couple of weeks if you run 35's on stock IFS.
there like almost no suspension lift kit for any of Toyota T100... :( but if you are good enough to do custom lift then it good. i am doing body lift and will be putting on 30" tire on my t100... so you should look into new shocks that do 3 to 4 inch stock lift
hey im about to turn 18 and i just got my first ride which is a 96 T100 toyota and it doesnt have a bumper or grill, i was wondering what kind do you have on yours? and also what kinda lift do you think i should get?
It was a stock grill that I cut up and then fiberglassed it...and some custom round headlights. Stay away from the suspension lift packages...its better to leave it "stock" for reliability...less headache. Just get a long add-a-leaf rear springs, 2-3in. body lift, 35" tires, pound the fender well to clear the tires, rear differential locker, manual hubs in front axle....you're ready to go
@aks2282 I prefer suspension lifts over body lifts myself. Just don't get one that involves cutting your frame (like a fabtech). a 3" suspension lift on a toyota will go a LONG way.
if im right this truck is essentually the same as the tacoma, whats so diff about it, it seems worse for the offroad, am i correct, if im nto please some one correct me
its pretty much the same except its a lil wider and longer...so it depends on how you would define "better" for off road. tacos are well supported by aftermarket companies...not the t100s

They are a bit bigger than the tacoma. bigger body frame and engine I do believe. Both are awesome.:) I hopefully am getting one soon. :D
