i think some of the people that have posted need to stop trying to legitimate the way order is maintained in our society and ask the question what is the order? What is a police force but a group of armed men, used as the coercive arm of the state. The level of police coercion needed to maintain order directly reflects the level of injustice that that system or "order" imposes on the people who live within it.

One good thing comes out of this video...assurance that the police will always have a job arresting people that think the arrests are for "no reason." By the way, to the film maker, semi good work, however, Obstruction of Justice is not a crime in NY. One day, I see 2 black males running away from a women in the subway because they stole her phone and purse. Two young MINORITY cops chased after them and caught them. When the cops caught them, can you believe that some black lady said, hey you guys need a lawyer, this is not justice, I can get you a lawyer, this is not justice." I could not believe what I just seen and heard this lady say. I hate when people pass judgment because of race without knowing what the hell is going on.

Also look at it from a different view. If you buy something from a vendor without a license, and get sick to the point that your actually freaking dying, who will be responsible? If translation is needed, they will call an NYPD cop who speaks the same language. If a cop requests a person walking by to assist in explaining whats going on, then that's the cop. Many vendors know the rules but yet break the rules; however, if that's the way you have to make your money, do what you have to do.
