I don't think I will ever tire of this song. Yes JB can play anything, but what most guitarists fail to realize IMHO is not how many notes you you can play or how fast, but THE notes you play & the notes you leave out. I love this song & "Suspension" for those reasons. They just create an atmosphere that I can't describe really. Just perfection in my eyes...& ears. There is not a guitarist alive that can compare to Jeff Beck & his mastery of his craft.

Really been getting into Jeff Beck recently. He has that fantastic slight overdrive / reverb / delay sound that I am constantly trying to perfect :) Real inspiration.

@simcoemedia Yeah the funny thing about his tone is that, when he picks the strings hard, his tone gets really overdriven and/or distorted. When he picks the strings lightly, it's a clean tone. Never could get such a setup with my gear :P

@BenjaminMJ Don't forget that he's also using the volume knob to help take the edge off when he wants to quiet down. But yes, it's ALL in his magic fingers. He is the greatest guitarist alive.

@timphilby It's a "Slide" made out of glass and he's been using through the whole "Bloody" song! BTW as you can see Jeff is a MASTER of this technique.

It was the best sounding concert as well.
