@MrDarknesslover lo idiomas oficiales en Suramérica son en la gran mayoría el español y el portugués, también existen innumerables lenguas indígenas, que aunque se etán extinguiendo. todavía son habladas, pero el latín como tal, no es una lengua ni oficial, ni parcial, ni nada. Si leés bien mis textos me refiero al lenguaje como algo cominicativo.... ¿entendés ese tipo de conceptos? o es que en realidad no has aprendido nada en la UCV??????

1. "Latin" was the language spoken by the Romans; it wasn't an ethnicity in and of itself. 2. The Roman alphabet was not 26 letters and did not include letters such as "W" and, you guessed it! "J". As western language became more homogenized and began to include other letters, the "I" sound (which is known in linguistics as a "j-glide") began to be replaced with "J".

The Romans used 23 letters to write Latin:
A B C D E F G H I K L M N O P Q R S T V X Y Z
There were no lower case letters, I and V could be used as both vowels and consonants, and K, X, Y and Z were used only for writing words of Greek origin.
The letters J, U and W were added to the alphabet at a later stage to write languages other than Latin.
