  • Yield probably has to be my favorite Pearl Jam album. All of them are amazingly great... but Yield definitely ignites a fire in my soul. Then again, I could say the same about Ten and other PJ albums as well STP and SoundGarden. Still though, Yield is friggn awesome and so is this song. It's evolution baby!

  • @iKickComputers yield and vitalogy are pearl jam's finest; they were at the top of their games when writing them.

  • @07foxmulder Honestly, I can't consider Vitalogy to be one of Pearl Jam's best albums. Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing record. I can always go for a good listen to that one. However... I think that Pearl Jam's original album, Ten, had an originality that can't be beat. VS. had a great rugged quality to it that translated well. Even Backspacer was better in the sense that it was inventive despite being released 20 years after Ten. Just my opinion though.

  • @iKickComputers i completely agree about ten; such a fine album. i enjoyed vs to an extend, but something about it just rubs me the wrong way. songs like glorified g, rats, go, and dissident i could never get in to. animal, daughter, rvm, elderly woman.. classics. as for backspacer, i'm surprised you found that inventive. i enjoyed backspacer, but on more of a superficial level. there wasn't much going on there, to me, but it had some catchy tunes. what's your take on no code and RA?

  • @07foxmulder Fair. I think that VS had an.. I dunno.. a grittier sound to it that was a departure from the smoother rock PJ had been producing. I could dig it, but I totally get it if you like the more souled-up songs. Backspacer to me was just short, sweet, and well constructed rock. Can't say i connected with its music though like I do with most PJ. As for No Code and RA, I never owned either album but I like the tracks on NC like Hail-Hail, RM, etc. RA isn't bad but its not really my style.

  • 7 personas no pudieron ver el video porque estan a favor de SOPA

  • It's Evolution [Censored by S.O.P.A.]!!!

  • monkeys :d

  • @2011facebooker bunch of fuggin monkeys eh?

The best part about monkeys is their compassion. The worst is the way they throw shit at you just because you're an 'outsider' and then try to bite your face off.

    I hope they learn...

Can't we all just ... 'get along' ...?

  • fuck evolution man, i preffer stay primitive

  • @kagaingas and yes I'm using Youtube ;D

  • @kagaingas fuck that - stay timeless, not primitive. Music, fire, dancing, fucking, tripping, learning, ... all awesome. Just don't rock smash club fuck someone to death because you don't understand them. That is primitive. Love thy neighbor. Timeless awesome. Unless he's an asshole. *shrugs*

    ITS EVOLUTION BABY!!!!!!

  • 7 people didnt evolve

  • 7 people dont believe in Evolution Baby!!

  • @pbrskater26

    Yeah because there dumb creationists

  • came here from pown.it

  • hey..can any one tell me...wat did eddie meant by sayin "those ignorant indians got nothin on me"???

  • @vantyvinitoza probably it rapresents the idea of the first europeans who came in America. They killed many peopole thinking of being superior just to become rich.It sounds like ''they can't prove what we did or call a loyer because are just a bunch of ignorants''

  • @vantyvinitoza Lets expand on this. By "this land is mine, this land is free" european settlers claimed land rights and literally took the land by force simply because the native Americans did not develop the land. The indians were considered ignorant and primitive compared to the europeans because they revered nature and of course their beliefs did not match that of christianity. That is a whole discussion in itself and merits a deeper thought than what I can fit onto youtube. I hope that helps

  • @WilhelmOfDessau not all the song are creepy like this one i have the album ten and black, oceans are really nice songs but yeah they have meaning and this song spokes with the turth

  • my throat hurts for screaming the shit out of this song.

  • It's evolution, baby!

  • It's ironic to think that you cats think he's boasting.

It really speaks to what he's saying .

Look up sarcasm and come take a fresh peek at the vid you fucking simpletons.

It's not egotistical because the man's being sarcastic.

Thinking that it's egotistical is egotistical because you're ACTUALLY sold on the point that "you really are that great, and evolved, aren't you?".

The line about the indians was said in good faith that nitwits wouldnt be listening in to misunderstand.

  • tf2 engineer -just sayin

  • don't mean to be a pooper but don't you think this song is kind of egotistic?

  • @rockingarts That's the point.

  • @rockingarts it's not egotistic, it's evolution, baby ;)

  • I can kill, coz in god i trust

  • Very simply put, IT'S EVOLUTION BABY!!!!!!!

  • My favorite song of theirs. Nice and raw.

  • Isn't it 'Herd Behaviour'?

  • my friend told me pearl jam was gay cuz it has the word pearl in it, i told him to fuck off

  • @midgetrocker36 It's Eddie's great granmother's name. Your friend may be a tool.

  • Peal Jam must of been high when they made this song,Eddie sounds nuts. when he yells.

  • Hey I have that Plasmatics T shirt! LOL! Is Eddie Vedder a Plasmatics fan? Then I guess he's pretty cool, heh heh! Not a huge PJ fan but this song is cool, and I can't fault a fellow Plasmatics fan! You learn something new every day!

  • they were pretty damn close on the 2010 call.

  • In the music video, why do they have that chick dancing? To give anime nerds boners? Lol jk, but is she like a sex symbol or something?

  • @zunez0rz because in the video she is the death

  • @zunez0rz She represents death, notice how her face sometimes becomes a skull? And how shes always around smiling when people die?

  • How the fuck is this not a single

  • @grunge5776 It was pushed as a single back when the album landed. It didnt go over as well with mainstream audiences because most casual listeners are pussies. Check out the video for this song btw, it's fuggin' wicked.

  • I love the MJ breakdown

  • i love da solo riff XD

  • You ruin this song with suckass spelling. If you can't spell, run it through spell check or something. Shows how little effort you put in this vid. Such lack of effort is a disgrace to this Pearl Jam's timeless masterpiece song. >:C GTFO I came here to sing along to this song!

  • @CrabTastingMan

    He misspelled one thing.

He said "clon" instead of "Clone"

Calm down, no one is perfect, especially if you tell him to use spell check then you must be a pretty indecent speller. GTFO his sack.

  • Just BEWARE of UMG and ALL those other groups.

  • @YT20xx Hahaha too late. They did it but they didn't block the video

  • @YT20xx yes Keep an eye on all of them

    TOAC

  • Nicely done. 5*

  • Totally.

  • Nice song.

    Nice band.

    Nice tune.

    Nice Lyrics.

that's Pearl Jam for ya. :)
