I LOVE this idea. I tried it w an old black shirt and at first I thought it didn't turn out that good but when I tried it on it looked really cool. I like the way the neckline looks when you cut straight across and then the straps pull it up slightly. I'm going to the thrift store to get some more t shirts. Also thinking that using grommets would keep the holes from rippng and maybe putting wood beads on the straps.

Oh nooo you ruined the graphic! True, cutting around the graphic and then having to remove sleeves and sew up sides a bit is more difficult (AND is no longer a no-sew project) but if you can whipstitch, it's worth saving graphics!

pretty much when you cut tee-shirt martial and you pull it it just curls up and stretch out allot so the peace is longer but thinner.

I guess that if the image is up and centered, you just need to cut around it (armpit-to-armpit cut). You could make it a halter style, &or hem the top so it makes lettuce-ruffles. Etc.
