do these mappings work with all version of serato? i have kontrol hooked up, its set to midi, and serato recognizes it, but it still doesnt work. right now im using the mappings that came with kontrol and were the same on their website.

for some reason i can't load the colour tv mapping .mipi into the editor :S do you know why?

@DjStazen Hey, Im not exactly sure why you cannot load the mappings. Have you gotten it to work yet?

How did you get the scroll knobs to automatically change the size of the loops? I have been trying to do this and only thing I can get it to map to is making the thing scroll through the different loop sizes like if you were to actually click the arrows it just moves the screen and doesn't change loop sizes.

@ford50stang I think if you activate the loop first, you should be able to the adjust the loop length with the knob. Did you get this to work yet?

i usually use traktor but im settin up my kontrol x1 with serato for a gig coming up and was wondering if there is an fx option for loop roll insted?

how do you download your mapping and how do you install it to the control editor?

man....this video helped alot.....ive had the x1 for a while...still havent setup, but where can you download midi pipe? and is that difficult to setup? ive noticed everyone mentions midi pipe, but never seen it done!....any help would be greatly appreciated! hit me up!

@djshowtime12 Well, i do believe that I googled it and downloaded it from Mac's website. However, while I use the X1 more and more, I still cannot get it to light up when i push the buttons, like its supposed to, all the time. So, i don't even bother with it anymore. Don't really need to see the buttons light up anymore than they already are.

I am not really sure about that. I assume that you can use it on any version of Serato that has midi-mapping capabilities. However some of the stuff will not work on older versions. You should upgrade your software. Go to Serato forums dot com and click on the first discussion topic.

Build 22033 is the latest version.
