In the 0.3 Beta (The more recent version) you can have up to 4 player Co-op having Luigi and Mama Luigi as additional playable characters. You can see a video of it in action in the 0.3 beta video which is in the related videos list on this page.

@SquadalaMaster do the settings in the newest version let you change the blood and gore to no blood and gore? if not please make that possible in the next version
I know there are settings at least in the 0.3 Beta and on. You can change the level of blood and gore, where you can set it to however you like, including turning it off completely (you can also add more should you like the effect).
Using a character ( that jumps ) I made the sprites for it. Jumping etc. I set the jump sprite when it jumps, left+right when its walking, but in the air if i dont press any buttons, when I ( lets say move left or right ) it turns into those sprites in the air. and when i dont press anything while in the air, it still has the jump sprite on the ground. How can I prevent this and fix this?
For the jumping sprite(s), checked if there was NOT collision with solid objects 1 y coordinate relative to the objects position (right below the object). This checks if their is collision with the ground or platform with the bottom side of the sprite. If the statement is true, then it will either play a standing or walking sprite based on the player's hspeed and the direction it is facing. Otherwise, it will be one of the jumping sprite (left or right), based on the direction it is facing.

You should actually release this on a disc for the ps1, or something. I'd say cdi, but bleh, finding one that works sounds awful... let alone finding one... awsome work! I love the zelda cdi enemeis and the addition of (gay) luigi! Absolute total winnage
There was a slight problem with the collision. It has to do with the mask I am using for the Mario object. I am currently trying to improve the collision for the next beta version.

At any rate, it's looking much better. I couldn't get the last version to work for some reason, so I'll have to give this one a spin. Nice on Luigi there, too. XD
Its difficult to determine how long it will take, because I have been so busy lately. The game will have at least 7 worlds, and I am still working on the second one. It may take months to complete, however I will continue to release new versions of the game.
I am making this with a program called Game Maker, and am making a lot of the graphics, such as the background on the main menu using macromedia flash.
@FusRoDah I have a love for homebrew games that knows no boundaries. That is my only excuse.
