Steve Jobs was a bullshitter, in love with himself, he really thought he is the smartest guy in the room, he was extremely hard-working and ambitious, he was cocky, but he was a genius, he was a true visionary, I guess you have to be hated in some way to be a game changer.

Woz is completely different, but he is not a game changer, but I believe he is a much nicer person.

@kissmymoney When Steve Wozniac left Apple, they stopped talking. They didn't stop being friends, but they stopped talking. There just wasn't a reason to talk. They lived in different cities, worked in different industries, and had lives of their own. It is hard to keep a long distance relationship, especially when one or more of the people are busy 24/7.

Steve Wozniak engineered the Apple 1 & 2 by himself and Woz even describes a 4 day project in the book where they didn't have any time to sleep; worked 24 hours a day for 4 days to create a 1 player Pong game. Steve Jobs paid Steve Wozniak $600 while the company that Steve Jobs worked for (Woz was not even an employee) paid him a few thousand dollars. Woz did Jobs' work for him.

I really think its hard... but when I "see" the past... they made the "impossible" 30 years ago... so probably could be done again in a near future. For me, when I see Apple, I always see both. But I think that will never happen again... Jobs is a "faster" person who can compete really well against all market... Woz is the kind of person who looks more "slow" to enjoy life, enjoy is works.. without the pressure of a company and their competitors.

Woz has simpler targets than Jobs. He wants to invent something that enlightens the whole world unlike Jobs who sets his sights further where Apple becomes a giant in I.T. industry. There's nothing wrong in being a control freak if you want to do something & you intend to make perfect the very thing you do. Woz is the backend bit while Jobs do the front end bit. But Woz is the very person we should thank today because if not for him we don't have computers in our homes today.
