A made my own cryptex. It took about 5 hours. But, my cryptex is meantime made by paper, I'm gonna try plastic. :-)

I've made this. Now I wanna make one with multiple compartments. Is it possible? I want to have multiple codes, at the very least 2, preferably 3, that open different sections of pipe.
@Tobie2 uhhh, it's a container, put the logbook inside! You make it a puzzle cache where they have to do something to get the code....Or a multi where they have to visit a few places to collect parts of the code.
that is very cool!! i didnt understand from the video how the lock/open mechanism works.. but i have a lot of studying to do in order to get a job so i can do this stuff more peacefully.
That is very nice Sven, i felt like making a bunch of this and spreading around my city
After just discovering this channel and going through all your videos, I won't be surprised if I'll start using the phrase "BITS AND BOBS" in my everyday conversations. :) (I'm Swedish)
For us Europeans (i know the uk belongs to Europe but you don't use the metric system)
If I convert the inches into centimeters, I will get out an endless number. And u can't buy a pipe wich is (for example) 2,74839 cm thick! So i need to calculate it into measures which I can buy here...
Thank you, this will come in handy. I am planning on spending the the winter months inside building fun caches, because when it gets down to -30 I will not be outside caching. I have already done things like Yorick, a walnut, turtle and things like that so this one will be fun to add to the collection of things to put out come Spring. TFTV
RIP.. we will miss you.

@Tobie2 just be creative. My suggestion is a multicache with a piece of the combination in several smaller caches.
