What a totally ridiculous car. It's a hybrid and the best mpg he reckons it can do is aprox 30 ? Come on! My first car was a 2001 2.0 litre nissan sedan that could get better mpg than that. Seriously if I were shelling out for any 2010 hybid sedan I would be expecting far better mpg than that.

I don't think so. Luxury is the finest things in the world. Both Environmental and Well Equipped. If you can build a car that's best of everything, you got yourself the best luxury car in the world. Lexus interior is classiest in the world. Center console is made of Platinum. Patterns on the wood flows. Leather is smooth as silk. Lines in the car = stroke of Japanese Art. Buttons are Flush. Seats are well drawn out in an interior with good carpeting.

@icoopers Well i think you should reconsider once the new lincoln mkz hybrid comes out. It is the same as the car of the year winning ford fusion hybrid. It gets better gas milage than this car, and fits more people. Also the current mkz and the cts are the most reliable luxury cars atm. Just something to think about.

They should run test with the driver and passenger heart monitors...I have a seen a few reviews like this..and as always..the Jap cars...fail to get the heart rate...going..( not referencing fifth gear but other test)

What I don't understand is that 35MPG??? I have a V6 Lexus IS 250 and It is rated at 32 mpg. (65MPH) on Freeway I've been able to get 31 mpg. so 35mpg not a big deal. I think that most vehicles will get 40mpg in 5 years from now so what is the benefit of this car? None. Unless this car is $30,000 or less Which I doubt Highly only true Morons will get this. Do your research Lexus IS250 2007 32/mpg highway and 28/mpg city. And much nicer and powerful car.

Do YOUR research, first off, the current and 2007 IS gets 21/29 mpg (most efficient IS model). 24 combined. The HS will more than likely get 35 combined. Yeah it's quite a difference. I have no idea where you find these rating??!?! So 35 mgp a big deal....yes. And no if you're leasing. Purchase: over 4-6 year period, the price of IS vs HS will be significant, HS being cheaper. And the HS is a plus for a Green enviro., whether u care or not.
