Hey mike nice locomotive! and awesome layout! i have an Atlas master GP-38-2 In Monongahela railroad, it runs awesome and smooth, but fell of my layout due to my stupidity, lol but still runs! look for pictures of it on FB.

I have a New York Susquehanna and Western Loco like this kind. It works on DCC and DC right. You just move the plug over and then its DCC on default #3. That should solve your problem.

That is one kick ass track plan!!! The new stuff looks awesome. The only explanation I can come up with on the number boards is that they used white on GP38-2's and black on GP40-2's. And A brand Atlas will beat a brand new RTR 99.9% of the time. The other .1% is the rare case of a factory defect on the Atlas.
