its characters like Shinobu that make you feel nice, Ken did an amazing job with her and my personal favorite Nodoka from Negima. but its those kind of characters that make and the shy, quiet, nice types. but people have to come to realize that they are drawings. but its their character and your imagination that keeps them real in your heart.

The underlying theme of Love Hina is not giving up when persuing your goals in Keitaros case Tokyo Univerity and Naru. Shinobu along with Mutsumi represent the temptation to give up or settle for less than what you wanted. Shinobu is a dangerous temptation given that the characters age is only 12-13 during the bulk of Love Hina. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious but some of the previous posters seem to have forgotten this. SAVE GEORGIA FROM RUSSIAN AGRESSION.

From what little I've seen of the anime Shinobu get's shafted in terms of character. The manga better illustrates her feelings for Keitaro (crush to love).

great video, I like it being completely instrumental, soft, and soothing. I love Shinobu too, and I think I recall her being the only one not to hurt Keitaro (if he only noticed).

youve only seen the anime huh? there is once in the manga where she helps the other girls by smacking keitaro with a frying pan, but immediately realizes she didnt mean to do it, it was just a forced thing since she was slowly turning into a true Hinata-Sou resident.

I love Shinobu, mainly because she reminds me of myself, being a shy girl and doing the house work. Anyway, I've read most of the manga of Love Hina. It's cute. ^^ And Keitaro does indeed need to be punished for hurting Shinobu so many times.
