the song is from the fifties, and it's probably one of johnny mercer's best known songs. this one is featured in the movie "l.a. confidential", and there's a lot about mercer in the book "midnight in the garden of good and evil" because he was originally from savannah. the movie adaptation, while not being at all like the book, if you've ever seen/read either of them, features a lot of mercer music, most of it sung by other artists.
