Here's a tip for the developers: Stop trying to steal audience from other games and build on the main fanbase instead. It'll be more long-lived and loyal, it will bring in more people. You're just killing your own name with these kind of attempts, which doesn't really pay off in the long run. I am deeply dissapointed.

@Kaarox I recently bought the game myself to play co-op with a friend of mine and I was worried about the thinness of the total play time. After having a go, it turned out to be quite an enjoyable game, albiet a filler until other more engaging games are released, I do not regret the buy at all. The character depth and plot design could use a lot of work, but I still have some fun on it. If the price isn't a bother, then I'd suggest you grab a copy.

this game isnt dungeon siege, but it is quite interesting and a good game to pass the time, however, it is TOO short for it's price.
if you do buy it, understand it's short, not that much great loot, no set items, and no other acts really, you just go from spot to spot, quest after quest till you reach the boss, and then they go down, and you choose if this chick lives or not in the game, it could have been 100000 times better..........

This game has seriously limited control scheme that is also wildly different from its predecessors due to console control syndrome as well as jrpg syndrome and seriously boring characters.
Its a good game...not great...but the spirit of it all is gone even in the visual sense.
If you loved dungeon siege 1 and 2 with all the relevant expansions you are likely going to feel little of that in this game.

I like this game and I've also played through DS1, DS2 and their expansions. Sure it has some faults like repetitive enemies and a very small number of models for armor and weapons, but overall, to me, it's good. The WORST thing about the game is that it's too damn short. i would never buy this. dungeon siege stopped being good after LoA.. dungeon siege 2 was shit, not being able to mod.. and now 3, where everything is shit, especially UI and story.
I wish there was dungeon siege: legends of aranna with today's graphics and nothing else changed. i would love to play it.

the only reason why u feel the 1st sequel is better than the new one is because of your suggestion the excitement feeling u play is always came in first sequel :) thats why u feel the new series more lack or bad than the 1st one.. oh and this happens on movies too if u want to know.. except u prepare continuous narrative from the 1st time of the movie or games :)

I like this game and I've also played through DS1, DS2 and their expansions. Sure it has some faults like repetitive enemies and a very small number of models for armor and weapons, but overall, to me, it's good. The WORST thing about the game is that it's too damn short. I was just getting into to game when it ended.. Wtf?

God damnit Dungeon Siege 3 sucks, the fucking stances and constant clicking ruins it because its so repetitive and the monsters are all the same.
You hit so low.
The graphics are worse than Dungeon Siege 1.
Dungeon Siege 1 didn't have to spam click to attack monsters.
Spells were neatly organized.
You had a better inventory.
The towns had way better designs.
Way more characters to party up with.
Better storyline (revenge).
