Exactly! In 1980 Zimbabwe population was 6 million and they complained about lack of fertile land in black hands. Now almost all white farms are eliminated and all land is the hands of blacks, but there is still not enough of it because the population now is 15 million. With this kind of demography completely unsupported by the economic growth they will never have enough of anything!

Problems seen in Zimbabwe are shared by most countries. Inability to solve those problems is due in some part to economic hardships of those countries, lack leadership internally and the externalities. My biggest surprise is when people only see these shortages, hunger, and economic hardships in only one country. Isnt this hypocrisy?

I think you missed the point. It is not about convenience of running water it is the safety of the treated water that you tend to get from the purified water from the tap. If I am not mistaken they were bellyaching about the bellyache they get from the water.
