im a weather spotter and the worst time to watch is at night i was 3 blocks from a ef2 in dundee michigan at 2:30 am and the only reason i new it was there is when it nailed the power station scared the daylights out of me 2 things u need when u chase at night a phone or radio and a change or underwear

IVE BEEN CAUGHT OUTSIDE IN ALOT OF THESE STORMS IN SOUTH TARRANT COUNTY AND MOST THE TIME I WAS ON FOOT WITH MY SK8 BOARD AND WAS FAR FROM THE HOUSE SO U KNO HOW FREEKED I WAS HAVING TO GO HOME SEEING THE SKY MOVE THE WAY IT WAS AND THE SIRENS GOING OFF

There are barley ever tornados in illinois. But there was a huge wall clound 2 years ago and a couple funnels.:(

Nope, they happen all overe the world, actually.  It is just for some reason (possibly the guys that run the HAARP Machine) that they seem to happen more in the USA than anywhere else in the world, xisteagle.

The US gets more because of the plains going right up to the mountains, the warm moist air from the gulf with the cool Canadian air as it moves east it runs into all the hot air from those blow holes running the country in Washington and all hell breaks loose.

yay, texas!!! i freaking like how tornado warnings occur everywhere else in texas except the west...we never get tornado warnings here...and i'm totally fascinated by tornado sirens and warnings...and i guess the tornadoes themselves! someday, i will chase a tornado!!! lol

We have lived in Forth Worth for two years and this is the only time the siren has gone off. I love the T-Storms but the warnings scare me lol.

I absolutely HATE it when storm sirens star blaring. . . . it scares me to death.

but mostly, It reminds me of silent hill.

Especially this one time, storm sirens starting going off and the sky grew so dark, the street lights came on at 4 in the afternoon.
