This video makes the car look really good. I'm stuck between this with the tech package and the gti with the autobahn package. The $6k premium on the gti gives me upscale interior quality and power...but I'm not sure if I'll need it considering this would be my first car.

@MrChanDawg I think it is.The base model comes standard with a 6-speed manual, but you can change that with the option of an automatic, but I don't know if it will cost you anything to change. It has the standard controls, (radio, Traction control, stability control, etc) But this base model is Front Wheel Drive, which depends on your location, may or may not be ideal. A lot of rain? Not good. The premier one, which is $3,140 USD more, is All Wheel Drive, and automatic. Perfect!Hope this helped!

@incontrol2008 It's on Hyundai's USA website already. One difference is that full leather does not seem to be offered. It starts at 17,300 (USD) plus another 1250 for the dual clutch auto. There are two packages offered which cost another 2000 each. They'll start shipping to dealerships sometime in September of 2011.
