as long as there is poverty, corps like nike will keep exploiting the environment, worker,etc.., but stopping to buy nikes doesnt change shit, as long as the reasons for exploitation are still there, thos companies will prevailö anyways. so you can still buy nike-kicks ,as long as people do not recognize where those issues are rooted

It's not a coincidence that there is a poverty though, and corps like Nike ensure that poverty persists. Nike could afford to pay a lot more to their workers and be much more environment-friendly but they don't have to do any of that because pretty much nobody gives a shit about what they really do. People either don't know or they choose to ignore it, or make light of it.

Things will keep getting worse unless the people inform themselves and decide to react, that's all I'm saying.

these problems can not be solved by buying no brand sneakers, especially because most people will never stop ignoring these facts.. besides ,if you really want to boycott the exploitation of third world countries ,you will have to live in the fucking forest and hunt for your food and sew all clothes yourself,otherwise you would support capitalism . this means for you: no internet,no youtube, no electronic goods, nothing. all i am saying is,that things are not that easy.

I agree that things are not easy, that's obvious. Mindlessly boycotting corporations alone wouldn't be enough to improve the situation, it would at least send a message to the big guys if enough people do it though. But even if they get the message, that wouldn't be enough to make it all perfect either. These are just small steps.

There is a need for an entirely new economic structure in my opinion. The current system is not sustainable, leads to destruction. I recommend "Zeitgeist: Addendum".

It's funny how you never see people posting about how Apple exploits the worlds workers since most of their hardware is made in China (just like Nike). If they are a hip brand, it's OK.

There are FAR worse companies in the world than Nike that rarely receive this kind of recrimination. They've just been singled-out by alt-pop culture as a symbol of evil corporate greed. They've become a lazy target for those who want everyone to know how socially aware they are.

Ok this is pretty genius. But who wants to wear the same colors throughout their whole outfit, especially an urban shoe.

What I propose is to take the colors of your outfit and find the COMPLIMENTARY colors. Now this could be related towards how many vector Nike colors on the shoe. If you have 3 sets of colors you can find the Triadic relationship with the outfit you have on. If it's 4 you can find the Tetradic.

OR mix it up and have ANALOGOUS color schemes as well. Fuck man the possibilities.

na, not the countdown, but the colour sampling from the image starts with many dots, and ends with pouring paint.. why can't it just be one method? all dots (dots extract from picture, then fly together to create the shoe colours), or all pouring paint (colours in picture are shown as a swatch or something, and pour out of the image, then pour into the shoe)?
