Yep, still doing it and doing it well but the following is so low here in the states. Trower toured here a year ago and you'd be surprised how many have no idea who he is, let alone Williams,Keb,Toby,Alvin, etc. May take some time but sooner or later I do think the masses wake up again like they did on the 60's, especially after Newport.
Should've known he was a European. Have never understood why Europeans are more into and supportive of the blues than Americans even though the blues is the only true American art form. Most American blues artists were and are more popular overseas than on their home turf.
As a Brit, thats an interesting statement. I feel I could possibly offer up some answers to but not in 500 or so characters. I've lots of blues on my channel and the statistics show it's mostly viewed by people in the States so chin up. Considering the suffering from which the blues sprang, it's a fitting legacy that it's apreciated and lives on around the world.
lol. True enough. The number of unique users is always less than the view count. Native interest will come back around though I'm sure. The likes of KM Williams, Keb Mo, Little Toby Walker, Alvin Youngblood Heart still doin' it and doin' it well.
thats what im talkin about.does not get much better than that.!!!
