  • "I'm busy, I've got chicken entrails to read!"

  • What the hell is with all these haters and absolutely cruel remarks about Roger Ebert? He's a fantastic, wise, and kind individual. If you ever read his blog, memoir, or really any of his reviews - you'll find that it's nearly impossible to dislike this man. I'm guessing the reason for all the hate is due to Ebert's political affiliations, and regardless of whether you disagree with him or not on that matter, descending to this level of depravity to attack his image is beyond childish.

  • Oh god ebert is horrible in every way

  • is that music at the beginning the theme for Mario Kart Double Team? (yeah, I'm a nerd. forgive me lol)

  • @ThePhantom135

If you were a REAL nerd, like me, you'd know that it's Double DASH, lol. :p

  • I love Ebert's Quote on the movie "The Squeeze"..."this movie is vapour, it just goes into your head and evapourates..." Classic Ebert!!!

  • "May a diseased yak make love to your sister's kneecap." Classic!!! :)

  • Roger you're not the only one, I admired the 70s Texas Chainsaw Massacre but didn't enjoy it

  • I love John Carpenter but dammit Prince of Darkness sucked so much. no elements in it that could you know...stimulate the brain.

  • ebert is ugly ugly

  • "I admire what he did, and i hate it." funniest line ever.

  • 2:08 - 2:55 Two thumbs up for Siskel.

  • 1:39 HA!!! get em Ebert!! lol

  • I could watch 0:00 - 0:49 all day. Roger's so funny!

  • Is that back ground music the music from Mario Cart Double Dash?

  • "I admire what Cronenberg and Weller and Davis have done here.

    It's a very good job.

    It's a brilliant job.

It's one of the most unpleasant movies I've ever seen and I hated most of it."

    Best Roger Ebert quote ever.

  • "Don't sign up for that class. Take gym or something..."

  • Rapa Nui would have made a better documentary. I read Naked Lunch, and when I found out it was a movie, I was horrified that they would put some of those truly disgusting images on the screen. But from what these two said, I'm actually kind of curious to watch it.

  • Ebert: "I admire what he did...and I hate it." I laughed out loud.

  • My chewing gum is very insulted by "The Squeeze"

  • This one should have been called "Can You Believe We Have Yet Even More Fun Times With Siskel And Ebert And Roeper Again?"......Okay maybe not

  • They like it cause they are on drugs lol roeper is the best

  • vapour man JUST VAPOUR! i know what Ebert means.

  • the mariokart music makes it even more funny.

  • I Favorited this video based on The Prince of Darkness part. Theyre bad, they're evil, they're naughty."

  • Make your order now # lushfmlk.info #

  • Ebert probably doesn't like video games because he always has to review horrible video game movies :/

  • "I admire what he did, and I hate it."

One of my favourite quotes by Ebert.

  • Eberts just taking the piss out of Roeper with his reviews

  • The Squeeze remind me of Green Zone. I couldn't remember the plot, characters, or ending. When I try to remember it, I think of The Hurt Locker.

  • Comment removed

  • I liked siskel a little better, a classy man!

  • If you search on the website for the video where Ebert and Roeper review War of the Worlds!! Ebert looks so pissed at Roeper the ENTIRE interview!

  • Steve Zahn went to my high school.

  • I just realized that the background music is from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

  • i was refering to siskel and ebert btw. im no the biggest fan of roeper

  • i think watching this actually raises my iq. these guys are intellectual, refined gentleman with incredible chemistry

  • Alright! Mario Kart music!!!!

  • Roeper should have thought twice before making his comment about college kids liking SpongeBob because they're on drugs. I've never had a huge problem with Roeper, but he can be an idiot a lot of the time.

  • A movie review show which is more fun and entertaining than 90% of the material it's reviewing

  • the main critique on zombies is that they don't have any personality... well no duh! They're dead! When was the last time you saw a corpse and said wow he has a great pesonality.

  • "may a diseased yack make love to your sister's knee cap."

  • I never understood why a "rock star" would chose a name for him or his group after a meal that - in the world of beef - sits squarely on the lowest rung of the status ladder.

So it's beyond me why he didn't chose a better name when - just in the world of Beef - there are such better names out there...Like:

    CENTER CUT

    RIB EYE

I'm sure there are more but who cares...

  • Meat Loaf, yes the singer Meat Loaf, is in The Squeeze.

  • love the mario kart music!!!

  • Watching these guys really makes me hate the current critics on this show.

  • ebert is alot more reasonable because he enjoys teh experience of the movie rather then nit picking like whats his face

  • Ebert is a really smart guy but i i agree with Roeper he's to nice and give far to muich credit to really bad movies

  • "May a diseased yak make love to your sister's kneecap." OMG lol that is the most random line i have ever heard from ebert

  • These are fun. Thanks for posting.

  • I love Ebert, but I'm with Roeper on Van Helsing.

  • "Except for the scratchy bits." Ebert is so witty.

  • @jjfan824 yeah well I'm not rappaport

  • rappaport? what

  • IS there any explanation to the yak comment?

  • Ebert's reaction to Naked Lunch mirrors my own response to virtually every single picture Cronenberg has made.

  • "May a diseased yak make love to your sister's kneecap." (Ebert to Roeper at the VERY end) That's gotta be the funniest sh*t I have ever heard and seen!

  • LOL! "This movie is chewing gum for the mind! That is an insult to chewing gum!" Damn!

  • final line is unforgettably classic

  • "May a diseased yak make love to your sister's kneecap"

hmm......there's why he liked Spongebob! He music be ON DRUGS

  • Music be huh?

i think youve been eating paint...

  • haha, holy god, just noticed that........yeah, I wouldn't deny that

  • lol

  • rename it "Still more..."

  • Okay 2 things: First, Spongebob the cartoon is hilarious to anyone! And the movie although not as good as the cartoon was also enjoyable. And 2nd, Van Helsing was horrible! I can not believe Ebert gave that thumbs up! He should be suspended or put in the corner or something... Just a ridiculous and horrible movie.

  • Clement, thank you, you are awesome. I wish somebody could magically come up with their review of My Dinner with Andre.

  • I like Spongebob and I'm not on drugs.

  • its the theme to mushroom city from double dash!!! awesome!

  • I wish Gene Siskel hadn't died

  • @Drac39 amen

  • What's with Thumbing Down someone saying he/she likes the first two "Resident Evil" movies?

I don't like them either, but DAMN PEOPLE! Lighten up!

  • Roeper at 8:27

Pretty much sums up my reaction to all of Van Helsing.

  • 8:20 to 8:42 is hysterical!

  • YAY! Mario Cart!

  • "may a diseased yak make love to your sister's kneecap" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Is that Mario Kart music in the background?

  • Where do you get your hands on this footage?

  • I record it all directly from the main site mentioned in the description.

  • @ClementJ642 The website is gone now. every since the show went off the air a few months ago. actually the show went off the air about 4 months ago, but the website was up til last week :(

  • That last quote from Ebert from the Sahara review was funny as hell!

  • Naked Lunch is a great movie.

  • I like the first R.E. but second one is bad but I like it.

  • "I believe they're on drugs. They must be on drugs!!!" ROFLMAO!!!!

  • miami vice

  • i generally agree with ebert but van helsing was shit

  • i love siskel and ebert and i love these vids. thanks

  • you don't "have" to listen to them. for people who like them, they're fun to listen to and they provide interesting insight on their analysis and personal opinion with the movies they watch. if you don't like these guys, just don't watch them

  • Some movies are objectively better than others. We like to say that such things are just opinion, but it is true that movies have different levels of acting, directing, cinematography, editing, and so on. If you were to say that a movie like Resident Evil: Apocalypse (for example) is the best movie ever, you would be wrong. Period.

  • This movie is chewing gum for the mind

    BEST QUOTE EVER!!! :D

  • That is an insult to chewing gum.

  • These are great compilations. Siskel and Ebert had great chemistry as presenters - there was a mixture of cameraderie and asperity all the time.

  • Van Helsing might have been good if it was meant to be a comedy.

  • yea the actors were so above that shat

  • What??? It wasn't?

  • Roger Ebert: "I admire what he did...and I hate it."

That one sentence encapsulates why I so loved the Siskel & Ebert show. Nothing has ever matched them since.

I wish they'd give up on movie review shows. They are just poor comparisons to those two.

  • The Naked Lunch thing is hilarious and yet so strange, and the Sahara bit is classic! Ebert kicks ass!

  • lol....take gym

  • "well may a diseased yak make love to your sister's knee cap." lmfao Ebert!

  • Most random shit ever! Hahahaha.

  • Carnac the Magnificent

  • @jakespick It's from the great Johnny Carson.

  • van helsing sucked donkey dick

  • "YOU ARE KIDDING ME!!!"

    LMFAO best reaction from Roeper

  • Ebert admires Naked Lunch...and he hated it! lol

  • mario kart music

  • Ebert sound terrible in those 21st century clips; although his persona is there.

  • It's sad, this was probably right around when he got sick.

  • "that is an insult to chewing gum!"

only Roger can come up with such great quotes!

  • Did Roger just say: "May a diseased yak make love to your sister's kneecap"?? LMFAO!

  • THAT was most certainly unexpected, wasn't it?

  • The elevator musak you have playing in the background drove me nuts.

  • Another good one is "Female Perversions" where Ebert makes a sexual pass at Gene.

  • Another good one to put up would be "Fled" where Ebert explains "what he gets paid to do".

  • "Fled" is featured in part 6! :)

  • Other than those Scooby Doo movies, here are some reviews I like to see:

    Like Father, Like Son

    Tomcats

    North

    Napoleon Dynamite

    Benji the Hunted

    Dice Rules

    Ghost Dad

    Great video, keep it comin'!

  • Sir, I hope you never stop making these tributes. I am hooked.

  • Oh, and also, Gene and Roger did a show about sequels. They really dug into Police Academy 2 and especially Friday the 13th part 5. Very funny stuff.

  • I love your videos! Such wonderful times with such smart, thoughtful critics. I can't recall if you've included this in one of your past videos, but there's a great exchange between Roger and Richard about War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise. Keep up the awesome work!

  • Great job!

Can you upload the reviews for those Scooby Doo movies? Those were funny (not the movies, the reviews) although I did like Matthew Lillard (Shaggy) and Linda Cardellini (Velma) in those films.
