@phunnyasfuk Actually, Canada doesn't require people to pay tax on winnings. The US does. As a Canadian, no matter where I win money, I don't have to claim it as income or pay tax on it. An American would, regardless of where they won the cash or prizes. Depending on which state an American resides in, the tax varies but is usually 38% - 50%.
