  • Sintra é lindaa, Portugal é lindo, de norte a sul e as lindas ilhas :)

  • What is the name of the first music ? Strangely it sounds like an old french music but the instruments sounds portuguese.

  • @dash94 It's from a Fado compilation from Coimbra

  • @eurodestination thanks. Juste in case you want to check it, the french song is "emmenez-moi" by Charles Aznavour. During a very short time.

  • All of this is soooo much pretier during the night. I'm portuguese and I think that this video doesn't transmit the right appearance of this amazing village. You should have filmed other spots, and the town center during the night

  • @triloblitz I will do when I have time - I was accompanied by a guide and therefore not able to spend as much time as I would otherwise like

  • What's the song?

  • @khryz1315 It is a Fado song performed by a group from Coimbra University which was given to me by a guide - that's all I know I'm afraid

  • @eurodestination it's a great onee! Gracias!

  • Meu belo Portugal =)

  • @MrWillRaven I totally agree

  • This might sound really weird but seriously for a couple of years now, for the last maybe 5 years, I’ve been having this gut feeling or intuition like a voice inside me tells me that I’ll meet my future husband for the first time in Sintra, Portugal!!! How weird!!!!! LOL! All I know is that I want to marry in this place!!!!!!!

  • @4everCanuck Well better book your flight then!

  • @eurodestination AHAHAHAAH You are right!!! Nonetheless, in life, patience is a virtue, when the time is ripe and right, I’ll go! But that won't be too long from now!!!!!

  • @4everCanuck

I romance with knights, kings and princesses...im a endless romantic....

Are you my princese? Would I be your knight? The perfect weding is in Sintra..no doubt!

    :)

  • @kar351 @kar351 AHAHAHAHAHHA I'm Portuguese too but I came to Canada with my parents when I was 14. LOL! I might end up marrying a Canadian man from continental European or Scandinavian ancestry and then visit Sintra. Who knows what the future will hold?!!! LOL! Thanks for making me laugh with your comical message! AHAHAHAHAH Princes and fairy-tales???? I don't believe in fairy tales and I’m not interested in princes or nobility!! LOL!!! Regards, LadyforeverCanuck, previously LadyBlueGreenFairy

  • @LadyforeverCanuck But I'm not in a hurry to get married. LOL There's many unhappy people out there!

  • @4everCanuck What's strange about thinking you'll meet your future husband in the most romantic place in the world ?

  • @dash94 True! LOL these comments are funny!!!

  • @4everCanuck Go for it my friend! It is a wonderful place, fall in love, have a great life in Portugal it is a wonderful place full of love, laughter... but no money, what does it matter as long as you are happy??

    Right?

  • @jjsep60 AHAHAHAHAH Right! LOL But, but, but I don’t wan to live in Portugal! I don’t like living in Portugal! I just want to visit it once in a while, that’s all. I even love Canadian winters and the snow! No offence at all to Portugal and to the people who live there.

  • @Lady4everCanuckk we love the Canadian people just in case you wanted to live here, in any case have a wonderful life my friend!

  • @Lady4everCanuckk well, even if you dont take it seriously, it's a wonderful place to visit. You should go. Magical, completly. :) trust me.

  • The Pena Palace looks like it is oozing with character and charm - Superb

  • @Paulmanorbier Yep, it must have been a favourite of the family that used it during the summer. Amazing views, but felt so homely too.

  • You're getting a very distinctive feel to your work Gary, and it works very well. The camera work is outstanding as always and your work is a joy throughout...Bob

  • @robmasterman Thanks again Bob. I'm looking try new stuff actually, this video was actually banged together a bit because I'm taking on extra work to pay for a hefty tax bill!!

  • @eurodestination Oh the joys of working Gary, this retirement lark is so much better...:o)...Bob

  • i always wanted to see these places :) thanks for sharing!

  • @dmitrivalencia Yes its a real gem, and just 40 minutes by train from Lisbon.

  • @eurodestinationIn I agree its a gem!In 1999 I visited this place! So wonderful!!!!! Best of all was the fact that I did not have to put up with any extended family members!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Advice: When visiting Europe, never tell any European family members that that you are going!!! If you do, you'll waste your time visiting them all and you won't enjoy any vacation time!!!!!!

  • Nice work Gary!!

  • @Mblumers Many thanks
