Thin and flat vocals, unoriginal (This has all been done in the 80s) and bland music, amateur lyrics, auto-tuned (btw, not everyone uses auto tune). The practically ripping off other artist is a bit of a turn off, too (1 example: Visage - Fade to Grey to her 'One Word').
I have seen her live and she struggles to not sing flatly, struggles to hit any notes worth mentioning and is all around a very average singer, at best. That's why she uses autotune.
I don't wish to say this but.. Even Demi Lovato and Avril Lavigne are more talented singers than her, which is saying a lot.

I agree this is not emo. But why are we bashing emo kids? It's pathetic. Let them dress how they want. You people that are sitting here saying "nobody loves you" is the reason they are the way they are. why do you think suicide rates are so high and that most of those "fake slit wrists" are real? The trusted source aolso says that they began playing what's called emocore, an early origin of what we now call emo in 1995. Way before kelly music team told her what would sell and what to wear. Oh and fuck stupid skinny emo fucks with long hair over your eyes and fake slit wrists. Kill yourselves already and do the world a favor nobody luvs you.

@Phunt555 wikipedia is actually not reliable. it is ran by college kids. also starting in the early 90's almost all music started to be catagorized wrong but most ppl belive what they are told by media so now very few ppl know what genre bands really are. jimmy eat world is actually pop punk. and emocore was nothing like the shit now days. it was emotional hardcore. and actual emo isn't all black and stuff. fall out boy is a major emo band.
