@dvery1 I have a updated hair care video. All the information about what I do and how I care for my hair is in that video. If you are interested in watching
what happens if i just took out my weave on sunday and im getting my relaxer on wedsday and its been itching and ive been scrathing do i put the pink oil or whateveron my scalp to stop irritation?
Non-Virgin hair usually is hair that has been chemically processed, either by hair color or a relaxer.
If you have never had a relaxer done before, I would suggest going to a salon with a professional. This way u have someone trained and licensed to give you a relaxer rather than doing a home kit yourself.
This is a really great video! there is a really good article at hairlista that talks about leaving the neutralizing shampoo on for, I think, 3-5 minutes. This is supposed to help remove all of the relaxer residue. I am so happy you are doing this series!
yeah reconstructors have very little conditioning properties but i love them! also, some people relax, rinse out, put aphogee 2 min reconstructor in for a couple mins, neutralize, deep condition etc. they say since the cuticle is as open as its ever gonna be, to restore the protein taking out during the relaxer process! nice tips btw
Gorgeous hair. How you care for it?
