I just bought a used 2006 outlaw 500, I call bullshit on it doing anything over 60. Maybe it seems slower to me, but I don't see or feel myself doing much more than 60. It's quick, but not almost 90 mph like some are stating here.

the polaris outlaw is only good if you have the ktm motor. if its not a 08 or higher thin there junk. the true polaris motors just sucks. btw the banshee is a p.o.s. there only good for draging.

Well thats what Banshees were made for racing and going fast. BUT.....there's more to quads than speed. Banshees are not a good choice for putting thru the woods OR going nice and easy on a trailride with the wife and kids. AND its missing a couple of things a modern 4 wheeler really needs......reverse and elec. start. So no thanks, I don't care for a Jurassic quad. Besides, the Banshee wasn't THAT much in front of the Outlaw.

395 pounds isnt exactly heavy concidering its not a mx bike, its still lighter then the trx700xx and the same as a raptor 700 (two competitors). The straight axle (what i have) weighs 365, irs is amazing for trail riding but not fast trail riding its too tippy

the outlaw stock for stock is faster than the banshee. its the fastest accelerating quad on the market right now. so the banshee had to have some mods or the guy on the outlaw just sucks at riding.
try racing outlaw 525s, the irs gives some extra weight, so banshee got better accel,outlaw's top speed is way higher. 525s ligher so it would get a better start

That outlaw 525 kept up pretty good to the banshee. If you ask me, thats pretty good. I thought that banshee was gonna eat it up but the outlaw kept up a good fight. I'm thinking about getting a 2008 outlaw 525, not the IRS though.

how isnt it impossible? due to the rule of 2 stroke vs 4 it would take 700cc of twin 4 stroke power to make that same speed, the outlaw is weak compared to the banshee which is the second fastest quad to ever be made, second only to the 500cc 2stroke suzuki quadzilla

dude, the outlaw has a overpowered 525 4 stroke dirtbike motor fit for a quad. the outlaw owns the renegade 800, so it can beat a 700 no prob.plus wat makes the banshee seem strong is the powerband...

the outlaw stock for stock is faster than the banshee. its the fastest accelerating quad on the market right now. so the banshee had to have some mods or the guy on the outlaw just sucks at riding.

try racing outlaw 525s, the irs gives some extra weight, so banshee got better accel,outlaw's top speed is way higher. 525s ligher so it would get a better start

The banshee is definetly not!!!Have you ever rode a stock banshee??They are absolutly gutless untill you modify them!!I used too smoke my buddies stock banshee with a little blaster that had a pipe, filter ,reeds and a reed spacer!!Yamaha sucks anyway I ride a 450R these days!!That polaris definetly has atleast a pipe on it!!
