I never heard the original, but this makes me want to dig up my Bowie albums. I think that the 'fighting a cold" voice works really well for a tune like this :)

Hi Amy, thanks for the redo... Hunky Dory is my favorite Bowie album too. I still remember my "wow" reaction to hearing Quicksand for the first time, with that really beautiful refrain in the middle... I knew right away he was a great artist, and not even mentioning Changes, Life On Mars, and The Bewley Brothers from the album as well. Just a classic album. Have great Christmas Amy.
