  • " One, one, one, one, none, none, FINISH HIM!"

    Too powerful!

  • @barcnnqo Like

  • Thanks very much

  • @jaydonng glad I could help

  • Your way of teaching and your explainations are not only entertaining and hilarious at times, but they're clear, precise, and most importantly, easy to follow. Youre a huge inspiration for students and future math teachers! Thank you for the videos and keep them up! *and a flower*

  • @aj88ification I have great stuff planned for future teachers:) thanks for watching and a flower!

  • youre the Tingle of Math, TINGLE TINGLE KOLOO-LIMPAAA!!!!

  • @jmbs0088 From Zelda. :)

  • dude you're awesome, don't listen to people telling you that you're weird or shit,IN MY OPINION if you're able to teach math in a funny clear way, helping us out,all of us who've got important exams next week lol, don't listen to them, anyway weird sounds and funny shit make you remember things ,you're great man, keep it up

  • @jmbs0088 Like I say, why learn something if you are not going to remember it. Thanks for defending me:)

  • I like the flowers.

  • thanks for this nice video pls keep it up

  • Normally I would get annoyed listening to the extra "uhh-haaah, yeeees!" sounds. But EigenValues and Vectors are actually a way more annoying subject. So it was actually kinda helpful in a weird way. Thanks for the video. :)

  • nice work !!!

  • this video is GREAT. It's really helpful and taught me how to do Eigenvectors, but it was also enjoyable to watch. haha! keep it up :)

  • great now I can't do my homework in the library because in the middle of problems I blurt out, "Uh-haaaaah"

  • @omgimgfut like, that cracks me up.

  • actually super helpful, however after reading these comments i'm going to go look up Kahn and see if/hope that he does not make that same...uh...sound effect. heh...but thanks! you helped me!

  • I actually learned something! Thanks!

  • they all sound like video game sounds are you trying to appeal to us lol. i think i even heard a "finish him"

  • Like the annoying commercials with the catchy tunes, the annoying noises he makes somehow seems to make the message stick better than a boring old math lecturer droning on about eigen-whatevers. For that I give a thumbs up.

  • This is not a joke. Everytime i hear the word eigenvector or eigenvalue in school i think of your fucking retard sounds. Put a fucking warning in the title!

    Great content though.

  • @soppaNnN its infectious like inception.

  • Nice video bro. Very clear example. Kahn is great, but I reckon your example in this vid is simpler, so it is easier to understand. P.S the sound effects are epic keep it up.

  • @kirjotheman Thanks comments like these keep me going:)

  • Thanks keep going!!!!!!!!!!it makes the boring life little interesting or makes one to forget!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for the tutorial.. the sounds really dont work in my opinion they were extremely irritating

  • To everyone whining about his method of teaching: Go learn about Eigen vectors/values somewhere else if it bothers you so much.

  • @galahad1st Thanks for the support.

  • those who want to learn do not require the stupidity

  • @Bits2ube You have many choices for free online math tutorial thanks for choosing MBF

  • all the sounds are quite distracting...

  • @test123ok nnnyaah. You have many choices for free online math tutorials thanks for choosing MBF.

  • ahaaaa~...okaay

  • Finish him!

  • What the hell are in those markers? :)

  • @fingerboy18 Liquid chalk :) you have many choices for free math tutorials thanks for choosing MBF

  • the most irritating dude ever!!!!!! BUT HES NOt bad at explaning this....

  • Oookayyy...thanks!!

  • loved the video! thanks for the help am cramming for my linear algebra finals tomorow . hahaha

  • why exactly is det(A-Lambda(I))=0

  • i actually think his effects help me because during an exam I imagine it and its easier to remember..

  • By saying "finish him" in the midst of an augmented matrix i think you may have won the internet!!

  • @kmment check out the picture of the two monkeys on Math by Fives facebook page "Finish HIm!"

  • U can teach very well and ur students are very lucky to have u, but i must say the way u speak here in this video is very "UHhhhhh....."

  • I must admit, I do love this guy hehe, I would never fall asleep in class if he was my teacher :)

  • TOO MUCH SUGAR.. ah-haaaaa... so annoying

  • can only imagine how many times a day he wanks off to eigenvalues

  • aahhaa!! LOL!

  • at 6:05 did he say Finish him? lol

  • @Husqvarnah01 Yes..... Yes he did :-D

  • goood jonb!

  • hes off his nut. does help with the old eigenvalues though

  • O, K! I was laughing the whole way through.

  • don't you ever make those sounds.. other than that you're OK.

  • auhaaaaaaaaaa

  • this guy loves his maths

  • hhahahaha!!!!!!

  • oohkay!

  • are you using a markerthingy on the chalkboard??? i wanttttt

  • @ricebuni liquid chalk markers. NOT actual chalk and does not work on all chalk boards check out Neoplex

  • (da)-x(dx+pl) ||x

  • I appreciate your effort but truly wish you direct it more towards making efficient videos that don't waste people's time with irritating effects.

Thanks though because the content was great.

  • @TimeIsTheMatter you have many choices for free online math tutorials thanks for choosing Math by Fives.

  • OKAY...SURE!!!!!

  • 8:35 is absolutely classic. "Then my eigein ... vector is equal to ..." HAHAHAHA!

  • 8:34 HAHAHAHAHA! Brilliant.

  • yes i know there are many other choices for math on the internet, but im just giving you some advice... not many people enjoy the sounds. The math is great. helped me with my hw but its very hard to get through this video.

  • COOOOOOOOL i love it thankss aloooooooot.

  • cool video, different and informative, not too sure about the sound effects, though since the topic i'm sure is geared to a more adult audience, we aren't looking at order of operations of solving simple equations that teenagers or preteens would be looking at...

but isn't one matrix called a 'matrix'? what's a 'matricee'??

  • @shortyife lol

  • Rock those Eigen vectors and values!!! fuck yeah!

  • the noises were a bit distracting, but also made me pay attention more? confusing, at least I understand eigenvalues/vectors now :)

  • gr8 explanation but u seemed 2 hav tourettes or sumthin wtf was that all about

  • not sure if trolling...

  • Good Job!

  • This is amazing! im stil gonna fail my exam tomorrow though, ha ha ha

  • yess, this reminds my of pauly shore teaching math. Mathbyfives creates one of the greatest videos ive ever seen.

  • Luniz I got 5 on it plays at the begging nice.

And well done, you sir are awesome.

EnvyProjekt is obviously just envious of you.

  • enough with the retarded sounds, you will do just fine without them

  • @EnvyProjekt There are many choices for free math videos on the internet thanks for choosing math by fives where we try to give math a good name.

  • also i lold at the end.

  • fuck the haters youre awesome

    finish him

  • who knew that math could be flaming...but good info if you can get past the persona.

  • @kdhunter27 There are many choices for free math videos on the internet thanks for choosing math by fives where we try to give math a good name.

  • @Mathbyfives clearly giving it a worst name

  • helpful video. thanks

  • thanks mathbyfive,very useful explanation,,,

    india

  • thanks for the clear explanation of finding eigenvectors but can you please show me the solution of two linear first order equations involving the e^(lambda*t) and the corresponding eigenvectors? i'm currently in a diff eq course. and i just want to see a clear cut explanation of finding the solution of two linear first order equations. Thanks.

  • JeneralJones in a previous comment you mentioned you would like to see some material on 3X3 matrices. I have a little time next week if you want me to crank out some content for you and post it to youtube let me know. Please be specific I could talk for a week on 3X3 matrices.also include the class your are referring to i.e. College Algebra/ Intermediate algebra so that I can focus the video.

  • lol FINISH HIM 6:05
