For all of you complaining about the rhythm, I am almost positive it was done on purpose. Close your eyes and just listen. I picture a raindrop falling every time your "off-piece" piano plays, and it lights up the ground in a bright color. It makes the song so much more enjoyable, so much more open to interpretation and the self-creation of a dream. I'm sure Beethoven and Wolfgang would be liquid dancing too
This is a dreadful clash of 6/4 and 4/4 timing. To a musician, it's very confusing and in my personal opinion not a patch on the Afterlife remix. Nice photos though!
?? ... in my personal opinion, if any musician finds this confusing in terms of timing and clashes of the rythms, then there might be something wrong with the musician himself!
@jackalfeat do you know what..you stick with your fancy terms and undoubtful ''facts'' and explain it to yourself by 'books'.., i'll follow my heart, all right? and yes, i was not in a high school band as I already had been involved in a lot of playing at the music school that i attended..you know, reharsals with the orchestra, public performances and so on..;) i can all but insist on what i said earlier. thanks.
Staffrecordplayer, the name of the artist of the original song (composer) is Thomas Newman, one of the most famous hollywood composers there is.! you might want to add it in your title.
Has potential but original track wasn't timestretched properly, hence being out of time, horribly. You could argue the original hardly has a rhythm, but with careful mixing its easy to find or even make one.
@Omnicix I havn't got a clue what you are talking about pal. I've played this track manier time on vinyl and never had a problem. Sounds like your just another youtube bitter bastards.
Artist is Thomas Newman :)

@Lloyidian Clearly you were not in the high school band. The original piece doesn't fit the time signature, that's a fact.
Doesn't mean this isn't a beautiful remix. :)

Thomas Newman originally composed this, Jakatta then sampled it and mixed with it. Then that piece was further remixed to create this...
