My sister in Yorktown, VA sent me this video after she, her husband and friends went to see Susan at the Williamsburg Public Library Saturday night! After watching the video I can see why she would want to share this musician! Very talented and a beautiful voice!
I heard this song for the first time yesterday on the radio, and I actually waited until it had finished before turning my car off and going inside. Such a sweet song, filled with so much nostalgia -- how can you not feel happy when listening to it?!
When I got home I immediately looked it up online and located it on YouTube. I was sure that this was Judy Collins singing, they sound a lot alike. Well done! :)
Susan Greenbaum sings like an angel...and best of all...her heart matches her voice! She is truly a gifted artist who is well-grounded, down-to-earth, and a very rare soul. Do yourself a favor and go see her for yourself! If you can't see her in person, buy her CDs. She is one-of-a-kind! You won't be disappointed! Her personality shines through in her voice and lyrics!

She was just setting up for her show, and her uncommonly wonderful voice cascaded into the room. Everything she does is touched with beauty, and she is as personally warm and genuine as her music. My wife, my little boy, and I just love her work, and we all wish her every blessing and rightfully deserved success!
Get off the computer and go out to see these guys live. I just saw them on Friday at the Ashland Coffee and Tea House and it was Awsome. Check out the tour info on Susans website. On Friday she opened up with a very poinent version of Springtime in January. It displacyed all of Susans great vocal range and really set the show off to great start.

If there is a more under-rated,songwriter in this world I would like to hear who it is. I often will by a CD without ever hearing it based on the lyrics. A copy of "Wake Up" made its way here from Virginia and well...the rest is history. I would without a doubt rank Susan among the 3 or 4 best songwriters on the planet. If you ever have a chance to aquire "Wake Up", "Hey Hey Hey", or "Actual Size" please do so. You will never listen to music quite the same again. Chris in Ohio
