The interesting thing about this work is that its amplifying the topography the city, aurally. It's sophisticated because it's using a different sense to "see" something... or rather it's transposing a landscape into individual notes on a piano

The cascading cacaphony of sound is like a rough drawing of a cityscape...

The sound is very similar to an urban setting...
