  • Did they put the microphones in the audience?

  • I loved the Zombies especially this song.It was probably me screaming in the audience

As a teen in the 60s in England we were fortunate to be able to see many of the pop singers at the local Working Mens Clubs.

Those were the days my friends..

  • Damn bitches need to stop screamin!

  • I have to give those models credit, it must have been hard to sit that long.

  • Holy Shit Balls Batman!!!

    The comments are hilarious!!

  • Those broads need to shut the hell up ans let them sing.

  • To bad you can't hear the singing over the screaming!

  • What does the screaming do. Why. Somebody explain to me the screaming.

  • I will always dig "true" live vintage recordings. Thanks for this post, Mate!

  • Crazzy man Crazzy chick groupies man crazzy

  • SAD AUDIO DYNAMITE

  • let me just explain the audio of this song in a sentence or two... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *mumbly music**mubly music* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! AHH!!!!!!

  • I didn't know the BEATLE's loaned their AUDIENCEs out?

  • Great great song and great band.

What about those TV values though! During the (keyboard) solo the camera is first on the drummer then a girl!

As for the screaming, nearly every TV show featured it. I think it must have been down to the fact that it was all playback and they couldn't cope with the mix... Those engineers would still have been in white coats ffs....

  • 0:09 - this dude is terrified to death :>

  • Wish all the screamers would shut up so I could listen to the song.

  • I didn't know they had wireless mics and amps back then.

  • call 911

  • Just prooves... If you're gonna murder someone do it at a concert!

  • are you fucking serious? why would you go to see a great band and fucking scream during the whole song, listen to them omfg i could barely hear the greatness over that obnoxious screaming

  • not seen on camera, actual zombies attacking the audience

  • I'm old enough to remember the screaming and did some of that in the '70s when punk came around. I thought this '60s stuff was excellent and could remember it from being a child. I broke up with a guy and this song tormented him. He was no catch but I did feel bad he was so upset. We even got back together and he pimped on me. My first instincts were right, getting away from him. I have a video series up about this. Good clip, uprated.

  • @slobomotion I know what you mean, i did my share of screaming at these bands too! Loved this music then and still love it now!

  • @horsenaround I just got so worked up. It felt fun to scream! The males would also love to dance with the frenzied females in a full rave-up. It was fun all around. One time at Max's for the Troggs I think it was, I was dancing on a speaker and mgt asked me to get down as that was dangerous. I did so, of course. I had dressed all in pink!

  • oh my god make the girls be quiet.

  • @mnorgia Have you seen the TAMI and TNT shows, the classics?

  • @slobomotion um, I guess not. A few of the TNT ones perhaps.

  • @mnorgia We rented those movies in 16mm and showed them at Club 57 in NY. I bought a tape of a compilation but it was missing some of the acts. I've heard there was an outtakes tape available of what they cut out, such as Joan Baez, but I never did find it. I recommend you try to find these two movies. The dancers were just excellent and the rather cheesy TNT, done second, actually has some of the best footage. I sold my tape a few years ago ...

  • Yeah, couldn't stand all the screaming but fortunately it became TOTALLY UNCOOL 2 act like that shortly after this was made!;r

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!! D:<

  • that screaming almost ruined it -_-

  • what girls are screaming today for what band? NONE

  • @partyspecialists Thats cause theres nothing worth screaming over!!!

  • STOP SCREAMING!!!

  • You mean "Good Quality" screaming…right?!

  • T.T oh!!!! I LOVE U!!

  • in the begging they sound if there holding there noses while speaking

  • Colin Edward Michael Blunstone....and Austin Powers on the electric bass

  • fucking tv shows...

  • I saw them last year. They sound exactly the same except for the screaming.

  • I saw Beatles live...the.DC5..these guys..Gerry/Pacemakers..etc..You just learned to live with the screaming.....they were only enjoying themselves....

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

    LMAO!

  • DOWN IN FRONT...SHUT THE F**K UP!!!!

  • The only group that started at nthe top and went slowly downhill from there, sadly.

  • Stop screaming!! I can't hear the song.

  • he screaming... the SCREAMING... the SCRRREEEAAAAMMMMMINIIINGGGG...make it stop Santa ..p-p-please...

  • what have we learned here? screaming girls have all ways been around and never let them in a live brodcast

  • the face the dude goes when he sees the statue at 1:09? Funny.

  • Oh well. It's lip synched anyway.

  • Please, ladies, contain yourselves. Seriously.

  • omg the screaming in this video

was someone being murdered in the audience or what

  • @xHAiiCHx They were being eaten.... By Zombies...

  • I fully understand the excitement of seeing gorgeous Colin Blunstone performing, yes he is scream worthy, but really must they scream the entire duration of the song?? lol. I've gotten a headache. But I love the performance. I suppose if I was there, I'd have screamed too.

  • such a great band

  • wasn't Hullaballo originally recorded in color on video tape?

i have the supremes performing on Hullaballo in as good quality as this. i must upload it on my channel. i also have the supremes performing baby love and stop in the name of love on shivaree, both videos better quality than whats on youtube at the moment

  • @CenaTv2 Yes, but only 3 of the color episodes have survived. The b/w copies are kinescopes (little more grainy and not as good audio); some have almost as good quality as the color versions, some have not.

  • @SixtiesPopGold1 lets hope that chroma dots survive on the film, if chroma dots exist on the film, they can then be used to decode the color information from the films and restore it to its original colourful glory

  • @CenaTv2 More info: All 48 Hullabaloo! episodes were originally in color. Unfortunately, most of the color videotape masters were destroyed in the 1970s to make room in the archives at NBC. This is why most of the episodes exist only in black-and-white kinescope form.

  • @SixtiesPopGold1 yes i know that, but during the process of making the kinescope, it would have transfered color information in the form of chroma dots on the black and white film. using expensive software, these chroma dots can be decoded and the color restored. this has been done notably on Dad's Army and Dr Who.

  • @CenaTv2 But don't you think that MPI Home Video (who released the 3 volumes of Hullabaloo) would have done that?

  • @SixtiesPopGold1 as far as i know, this process is currently only being used by the BBC in the UK. i am unsure if any american companies are using it.

  • i prefer the shindig video of this song
