A newspaper is like what...50 cents! Actually you can read it on the internet for free. He is like 50, he needs to grow up! Small price to pay compared to jail time...
I am a carrier as well, in Melbourne Australia, if this thing happen, my boss will do the rest without any charge, even if its my fault,, its really an easy job with good money in Melbourne, we deliver it with car, and in some agency the paper has already being wrapped,
wow, that was amazingly ignorant. Gee, maybe because some people don't sit in front of a computer monitor while eating breakfast? Or read editorial articles that aren't always available on the internet? Dammit man, think!
i think the baby boomers like the routine of getting the paper reading it and drinking coffee in the mornings, some say they like the smell too that comes from the paper. i remember grandpa reading the paper and my dad too and having coffee then doing the crosswords it will be many years before the paper is obsolete....
That's cool! Playing with peoples brains and engendering paranoia are often more satisfying(and legal), than handing out a sound beating, which is often one's first instinct.
I am a paper carrier and the companies I work for what usually happens is people will call in and the carrier gets charged for the paper. And usually at a much higher cost than what the paper costs.
You should have put a dog poop in there too!
