look guys we all i agree and the western power agree on this we a to protect that oil reserves form any enemy that how it was been since the 1950 if those reserves are hit the western world is fucked both dems and gop's know this.
Difference is, Democrats knew it in 1979 (search YouTube for "Carter energy crisis 1979"), where Republicans are just starting to figure it out now, almost 30 years later.
If you are referring to the 1991 rumor prior to the first Gulf War that Iraqi soldiers were tossing Kuwati babies out of hospital incubators, no evidence was ever found to support it.
When he quoted the soldier saying to the Iraqi soldier, "It's OK. We're not going to harm you. We're American soldiers!", did you notice how he started crying? Do you think that's because, under his son, we can no longer says things like that? His son has given the U.S. a reputation for torture of enemy combatants! And no matter how compassionate our soldiers and people really are, we will be looked upon with fear and disgust. What a dreadful thing to do to our good name!
Bet you in 50 years Bush II will be likable because the next generation won't be living with his bullshit. His foreign policy and his stance on judges and taxes are great, but everything else sucks.
I must remind you that we DID stay. Remember those military bases in Saudi Arabia that OBL claimed were the basis for his attacks on 9/11? And we stayed in Kuwait, too. Two of the most oil rich U.S. allies in the region. Note, no troops in neighboring oil-poor Jordan or Egypt.
Actually you're incorrect, there were and are troops in Jordan. And why would we have troops performing containment-of-Iraq operations in Egypt considering it's all the fucking way in Africa?

The fact that dependency on foreign oil is a national security risk. Check the Carter video I speak of for more info.

So much for conquering Iraq because of it's oil. Had that been the goal we would've stayed then.
