  • I just bought a new one over here in Germany for about 800$. Normally it costs about 1800$ here! That's crazy. But this is a gun that you can pass on to your children when they are grown up for sure.

  • @TheAsselmeier I heard guns are banned in Germany , is that true everywhere or just certain places? Or not true?

  • @taiwanreef We have quite strict rules when it comes to gun ownership in private households. You have to be a member of a shooting club and participate actively for at least a year. But then you can get nearly everything except for full auto weapons. But a S&W .500 is not much of a problem, same for example with an M1A. I own a Mauser Cal. 6,5x55, a 9mm, a.45, a .22 and now the .44 S&W M29. A Remington 700 and an semi-auto shotgun will follow next year.

  • @TheAsselmeier Someone made a comment saying firearms are forbiddeen in Germany a while back. Thanks for the info.

  • Nice piece! Gotta love the model 29, that thing is a classic. They're lots of fun to shoot if recoil isn't a concern. :) If could, I'd love to get my hands on one of the bigger ones with the 8" 3/8' barrel.

  • 2:50 what gun was it

  • I like the S&W Model 29 I would like to have one of those in my Collection.

The one that is very hard to get in the Colt Anaconda .44mag . If anyone finds one you better get it or it could be your last chance to get on. Go to the gun show and you will find .44 mag for a good price.

  • As you can tell by my screen name I am a big fan. That is a beauty. I hunt deer with a 629-1 and I love Smith&Wesson revolvers.

Check out Georgia Arms.com for good ammo deals.

  • Screw the Colt Python. The S&W Model 29 is the sexiest revolver ever! (IMHO :-)

  • I have owned at least 4 of this type weapon......6.5 inch blued, 4 inch nickle'd, 4 inch blued...& a 2 inch Lou Horton special with Magnaport...(made a lot of retro- fire) but didn't cut the recoil much. Hurt the web of my hand...loaded it balls to the wall with red line handloads...cci mag. primers...29 grains of H110 under a Sierra 180 grain hollow point bullet.....BIG FUCKING FIREBALL. Loved it...So sorry I sold it...for garden tools...no less. (The Lou Horton 2 inch model. ) Miss it.BIGTIME

  • Dude that is 1 sweet Gun, got a Killer deal !!! I want a 29, I just bought a 686 - 4 last yr and enjoy Smithy Revolvers. Man they shoot good .

  • shout out baby, LOL

  • Now this is a "REAL" gun... Beautiful gun, enjoy!!

  • The k frame model 19 takes the same grips as the model29. My grips are just like new too, got a great vein running through them. I bought some hogue palm swells to try to save the wood. I see you have the target trigger and hammer, I wonder if that is an upgrade or do they come on all the model 29's?

Those hand cannon's are too much for me, they leave an imprint from the frame strap on my palm. Good price, worth buying, even if you just put it up in the safe.

  • @taiwanreef When you go to my video press on the comment like you want to comment then you will see a written thing asking if you want to attach a video.Click on that and go to your videos and select it.I hope this made sense. If you have any problem let me know.

  • You will never regret that buy.If you do call me I want it!!! OMG I remember talking to you about it what a buy!! Thanks for the shout out and making me VERY jealous. Please post this as a video response to my 29. Quick profit if you want to sell it!

  • THAT IS SWEET!!!!!!!!!!! I want that bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been looking for one for a long time in 6.5, you got lucky

  • @humans4targets2 THANKS! COULD NOT PASS on this one!

  • @taiwanreef Nice I bought mine back in 1972 NIB with the 8 3/8 " bbl its really a classic gun the 29's good luck with it, Now all you need is a Lawman Leather original Dirty Harry holster to go with that gun. Love the grips on them also, I put on Pacmyer on mine nicer on the recoil, You better start to reloading for that gun.

  • @humans4targets2 None for you Stubby! LOL! Ain't it beautiful my friend?

  • @Mr45Bullitt hahahahahaha I want that Smith!

  • @humans4targets2 HAHAHA! I think MR45Bullitt is out of luck this time!

  • @taiwanreef If it was for sale I would give Bill first chance at it, just the right thing to do.

  • @taiwanreef no I had a couple of typo's that screwed up my comment so I fixed it and reposted the corrected one

  • That is a Bad Ass Gun!!

    Thumbs Up my Friend!!

  • @MadBadVoodo THANKS! I can't wait to shoot it! The guy at the gun shop said 4 or 5 people came back to get this gun and got pissed off , I knew better , I put it in layaway immediately!

  • what is that a 29-3 or a 29-6?

I see it's a non safety gun but not pinned or recessed..nice nice peice

enjoy, I love my N frame revolver..that are completely bad ass.

    Seeya

    Dude

  • @80spodcastchannel 29-3 checked serial number , was made in 1987 , they had a pinned and recessed one , a 29-2 for $750 , same condition as this one.

  • @taiwanreef pinned and recessed aspect only helps for collectability, both shoot fricking excellent. my model 28 357mag is also not pinned or recessed.

but my model 19 357 2 1/2 IS pinned /recessed, nothing better then shooting those magnums revolvers. if your doing practice and want to freak out somebody, load it with 44specials, then tell them it's a 44 mag, show them the mild kick. then load it with real mags, tell them, have them try it, and show them the DIFFERENCE of a full power load!

  • @80spodcastchannel The ones that have the endurance package are made tougher, starting with 29-3E(Endurance package ) , 29-4 , 29-5 , they are made a little tougher, read that in Combat Handguns magazine
