@Gee4747 Unfortunately I couldn't find the street name for you! The opening title theme is named Edinburgh Morning. Just type it in the search bar and it's the second one from the top! Enjoy!
Thanks for this film on Youtube. I first saw it about 10 to 12 years ago on KCET Channel 28 in LA. It moved me to tears. It's such a powerful film, although set in the onset of World War 2, it clearly has more to do with the revolutionary ideals of the 60's, Miss Brodie is liberal, a free spirit, a non conformist. The performance by Pamela Franklin was her best (she was a 60's child star but in the 70's as an adult did a bunch of crappy movies). This finds her on equal footing with Maggie Smith
@TheAmericanEvita In a way, you are correct. Miss Brodie is a liberal, 60's revolutionary. She supports fascists like Mussolini and Franco. This movie reveals liberalism for what it really.is.
@63kraft Well I am a liberal Democrat and agnostic/spiritual person but that's completely wrong. I don't know of any liberal that loves Mussolini, Franco, Hitler or any other Fascist dictator. As for my comment my point was that in her attitudes and character, Ms Brodie is a very liberated 60's woman. This movie is from '68 or '69, and they wanted to relate to the liberalism of that period. I grew up in the 90's which I felt was also a liberal time
Thanks for uploading this excellent film. I had not seen it since i was 12 years old at the movie theater. It was a bit too adult for my complete comprehension then but the story and performances resonated as did the brief nude scene. .......I looked at girls with glasses with greater appreciation after seeing this film.
6 inches is perfectly adequate, love this movie!
