@TheAlek111 How can you say that Doug is better when clearly they are both at the top of the spectrum and have succesfull careers in playing music. Maybe Dougs style appeals to you more, but Reb could play stuff Doug cant just as much as the other way around.

boongg, mercury was and is absolutely the best live performer just look at live at wembley 1986, you have no idea what your talking about. As for Coverdale etc they sang better on their studio records but all of them are great singers.

Plant was a great live singer, but with age comes a bit of deterioration of the vocal chords, and well his songs aren't easy to sing.

Mercury never sang well at live concerts even in his prime. He was an awesome studio singer.

Coverdale, Gillan, Hughes, etc. still can sing live as good as, if not better than, their studio recordings.

@boongg Check out Queen live at the bowl 1981, somebody to love. Then tell me he didn't sing well live. The reason his later performances didn't sound quite as good as the earlier ones are due to the vocal fold nodules that he suffered from, many singers without formal training get them.

I love Reb Beach, but the last note of the solo (the bend) is a little off(guess due to whammy stuff played on the 15 song before this 1) . Still Great Playing, and David Coverdale reivented himself, amazing.
