are any of those features (face unlock, android beam, panorama mode, etc.) only on the galaxy nexus or will it be in ics 4.0 on the galaxy s2

@MrLordEmil It will have Face unlock. With Android Beam, you need NFC and if you GS II does have it, then it will have it. The GS II already has panorama mode.

@MrLordEmil I think the korean S2 has NFC. But every other S2 doesn't have it. Maybe it's possible to make a case with NFC, but to my knoledge no phone has ever gotten such a case and i strongly doubt there is one for this phone. There are 2 android phones that have the Near Field Communication chip - nexus s and galaxy nexus, so you're not the only one that won't have android beam in the 4.0 update.

@zoics1 Christ... as will all Nexus models, there is no actual exploit needed to root. Simply connect via usb, open adb and type fastboot oem unlock, install SU and you're pretty much done... Look for a guide on rooting the Nexus S or Nexus One, it should work the same way.
