  • WEW, good work ;D

  • you cant get something for nothing

  • what do you do when your wires twist up?

  • Wind mill power needs to be 3 to 4 more than you power need is (wind mill average power production is 25% ...35% from peak/optimal power). This still need several batteries (with charger option).

  • your rear fin looks like a nutsack, and it is attatched to a long shaft. :|

  • Was this part of your rehabilitation therapy?

  • great video, so come on then how electricity does it produce at what wind speed or rpm on the turbine? how are you storeing the electricty???

  • ...Let's say I have a fan, F1, powered by the wall, and another fan (F2) via splitter... F2 is completely powered by F1. If F1 generates enough energy to power F2 which can power F1, can the wall be cut from the equation to make an endless supply of recurring energy? ...In theory, yes.

  • @Zethux yeah, in theory that would work, but both generators would have to be 100% efficient, which isn't that realistic

  • @numbahone1 ...or is it? watch?v=8he8afjQyd8

  • @Zethux Theirs a flaw in this theory and that's the effectiveness of F1 maintaining power; if F1 fails then F2 would also fail.

  • @Zethux This theory doesn't work. If both were perfectly effecient, they would run forever but produce no extra energy, as all energy is consumed in maintaining the power that powers it. However, 100% efficiency is impossible, so even that, cannot happen.

  • Nice Video That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You Homemade Electricity Producing Wind Turbine Several years ago I bought some remote property in Arizona.

  • I Really Like The Video From Your Homemade Electricity Producing Wind Turbine Several years ago I bought some remote property in Arizona

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing Homemade Electricity Producing Wind Turbine

  • Cool.. I really like what you are doing. People like you empower others to do things! It is easy to be a critic.. criticizing is no use at all... Sharing knowledge and helping with experience is the way to go. Criticizing is a sign they sit on there fat ass. And hold us all back with there views.... Keep up the good work. My home wind turbine is fun and dos work a bit! Yet the clever people do nothing but burn Toxic oil.

  • Okay everyone...I've got wind!

  • its a very heavy construction cant used for every place :(

  • maybe use bicycle pedal hubs for axes instead of office chairs? : )

  • The prop should be reversed

  • @crizzpnc1 The "fat piece of wood" is designed to act as a tail-section to face the props directly into the wind (think 'weather vein').

@kevindog86 He didn't use any wood; do you really not realize what the fluid was or what it was for?

@alpinemanlover Do you think there was an intention or recommendation of mounting near ground-level? Maybe there was wind but it was just not in view of the camera's lens.

  • 3:48 :p "there's no wind so ...."

plants moving on the left of the screen :p

(I know it's not enough to turn your windmill ;) )

  • That looks like garbage. Also, dude uses way too much wood glue. You only need a 1/8 inch bead bro!

  • A lot of motors are not designed to cope with loading outer than radially ie the bearings may break up quite quickly if given thursting loadings. It may be of use to look at the original setting of the motor to find if it was set up to take the type of loadings you are going to exspose it to.....

  • why is he hammering sum fat peice of wood onto it.. wat a caveman!! gud luck fooooool!!!

  • how can i make a GENERATOR!?

  • Do you have any clue on how to store the power it produces? Like what kind of battery would I need? I've been searching hobby stores, but not really having a name for what I am looking for proves it difficult.

  • @saftydance2 use bettery just like the one we use in Car bus truck etc and u can use AC to DC And DC to AC converter with this

  • I am planning on making a generator, the motors I have I believe are same as your motor inside your wind turbine. Its just 6 to 12 volts. Its the type of motor that is used in air pumps/compressors for cars, or drills, or RC planes. They are very useful.

  • I found your video about the wind turbine very educational and of great use thank you. May I suggest further reading about this topic and other hidden secrets on making your own electricity. Have a look here.
