Are you talking about the scene with Doc trying to check a wound on Matt's arm. It's "How to kill a friend" I think. It was the episode the got mixed up on the DVD release. Just so you know, the guy on the ground is not Chester.
@Kaps505 Aww I thank you so much for looking it up, you didn't have to but again I thank you!!! Yeah I love Gunsmoke but have missed many episodes for what hasn't played on TV Land though I'm glad its on here
Excellent tribute. I'm not a Green Day fan but I think this song works really well - the lyrics are very fitting. Good work! What episode is 3:09 - 3:16 from?
I Love Matt Dillon He Rules I Think About Him All The Time Evey Time I Wach Gunsmoke It Makes Me Think About Him Case I Miss Him So Much Plz Come Back Matt Dillon We All Miss You. I Miss You Too You Are So Cute And Hot I Love You A Lot.

Gunsmoke was propaganda put out by the elite to justify government. Many times Matt Dillion will say "I didn't kill you brother, the law did." and this will be just minutes after we see him pull the trigger on his gun and shoot the person. This guy was in total denial using "the law" to justify himself being nothing more than a serial killer.
That was from the first episode "Matt gets". Gunsmoke was advertised as a different take on westerns. so on the fist episode they had him lose his first on screen gunfight to an "unbeatable" gunman. He spends weeks recovering and bravely challenges the guy again, this time armed with the knowledge of the gunman's one major flaw.
You mean the part were Matt points a gun at the guy? I don't remember the exact episode. I think it was the one were he went to a neighboring town to catch a wanted man and found that the guy had reformed and was running the town.
Damn its good you make your vids under 3 minutes,I was gonna have to violate my doctors orders of not aggravating my carpal tunnel syndrome, lol Peace ,great vid
It just might be the best show on television. After seeing this show, I have yet to find any western that can measure up to it. I really can see why it was so popular for so long. Glad you liked the video.
Well done Kap. The song really fits with your scene montage. Can you believe James Arness is now 85 years old and going strong! Who's left from this era? James Garner, Clint Eastwood, James Drury, Stuart Whitman... Can you think of any others that are still alive?
It is nice to hear that James Arness is still active and doing so well. Gunsmoke is such a timeless show that it is hard to believe so much time has passed. As for other classic stars, I do know that Ty Hardin from Bronco (the western that got me hooked) is still around. He even has his own website.

the into song or the actually song used(Boulevard of Broken by Greenday)? The first song you hear isn't part of the main video.

James Arness was not only a hero on TV, but in real life as well.
He really was a giant of a man.
Arness is best remembered for his role on Gunsmoke, a show that lasted for 20 years because of him.
However, those who knew James will always remember him for his kind heart.
He spoke of his family, friends and fans at the end of his life.
He cared about everyone.
James Arness will be missed, but he will be loved even more as the years go by.
