I just bought a dozen puppies - I own them, they BELONG to me. They're really cute, but most of them are less grateful than I think they should be, and some even fail to obey me. So I'm gonna put them in a metal garbage can, sprinkle them with gasoline, and burn them. Not all at once, just a little every day to see how long I can keep them squealing and squirming. I'm not God so it won't be for ever, but I'll do my best... Hey, I love 'em!
How many times have I heard someone say, "A loving God wouldn't put His creatures in hell." Well I have news for you, friend, God doesn't put anyone in hell--their sins put them there. Know ye not that hell was not created for man? It was created for the devil and his angels--
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. (Matthew 25:41)
WHATEVER image the word "hell" brings to your mind, hell is generally thought of as a place of punishment for sin. Concerning sin and its effect, the Bible says: "Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." (Romans 5:12) The Scriptures also state: "The wages sin pays is death." (Romans 6:23)
Maybe you could answer this question for me then: If God did not create hell but Lucifer nonetheless fell there, then who or what did create hell? If God did create how can it be considered loving? I don't believe I would go to hell but, I couldn't accept heaven if even one person I loved was in hell. I just couldn't bear it.

@shas1814 ok so let me explain. Lets say you're a king of an empire. One day you find out your children are plotting against you to overthrow you and exalt their selves as kings. they try to but fail and you would like most fathers have to punish them. you gave them life and they tried to overthrow you. when satan deceived eve he said god doesn't want you to eat of the tree because you will become gods like him. she just didnt eat the apple and have sin. she did it to become a god.
@shas1814 now death and hell was the consequence of our actions against God. But just as his wrath and word is perfect so is his love and mercy. So he let his only begotten son Jesus Christ drink the cup of his wrath instead of us having to die and burn in the hellfire for all eternity. We we're separated from God, and it is Jesus who bridged the separation so that any man that believes in the father and the son may have everlasting life with him as he intended. It was God that had been wronged.
Well, I guess his speech sounds wrong and terrifying because here in North America the majority of preachers preach only a loving God who sits indifferent to our sin. Have you never heard of the wrath of God that will come upon this Earth and its people? His wrath is a result of His love-just like a good judge punishes crime, so must God punish sinners! But Jesus took our sins upon Himself so that when we put our trust in Him we are saved from the wrath of God because we become His children.
How do you know that you or your family and friends will be saved from His wrath? Remember, everybody commits sin and God will be indifferent as to who commits what; He will only see sin in our faces and judge us by that.
It's true that everybody commits sin-the Bible says exactlyt that-"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"-and it is only fair that we deserve hell and God's wrath on us. But the Bible also says: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only and only Son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.( John 3:16)" When Jesus died on the cross, He died for us-this means, He took upon Himself all our sins..to be continued belowe
Jesus never sinned, and because of this He was able to take upon Himself all our sins. The King of this Universe made Himself sin for us, and on that cross, God poured on Him His wrath, so that today, by faith in the sacrifice that Jesus did for us, we are made righteous in front of God. We become His children who are no longer in danger of the wrath that will come upon this Earth for those who reject this sacrifice. Good works will get nobody in heaven. It is only through faith alone in Jesus.
Oh, in that case, hao about the part where it says we can have slaves, we go to hell for playing football, and to cut the hand of the woman who saves us by punching someone in deh nuts?
Read the rules in Leviticus. Among other things, it says you can sell your daughter into slavery, that menstruation makes a women "ritually unclean", and that if a man rapes a woman, he has to marry her.
Seriously, it's not hard to look this stuff up. Google will turn it up very quickly.

Where did the name Lucifer come from, it most certainly is not in The Bible.
Study scripture an dyou will see that Sheol/Hell is not a place but a condition: the condition of the dead. Conscious of nothing.

The Holy Scriptures of the Bible is the documented source. Reading it with an openmind helps to put matters into perspective.

Brr...
It's true, though. People who believe God allows Hell are worshiping a puppy-burner.
You have to ask, what's that about?

Philos, he did not make religion ridiculous--it already was. Religion, however, may have made him so ridiculous.

So then there is no need to threaten people with Hell if there will be none for anybody now that Jesus takes everybody's sins away.
I wouldn't trust a book written by men who wrote down that women should be kept in place and other sexist/uncivilized rules.

This is a send up of old school Australian Catholicism. My parents growing up in the 40'-50's recalled many sermons like this.
