Anyone who claims their is no student group for multiracial people are lying. Most campuses have a MULTIRACIAL department or group for students of every ethnic background. I've never seen a solely Black student group on a campus. Most black organizations incorporate all mixes of black and latino. At my alma maters the so-called black student group was always mixed and guess what white students joined the group too!!!!

All African Americans, Afro-Latinos, Afro Canadians & Afro Carribean people are "Mixed" with European Blood because European "Slave Masters" Raped the African Women they Enslaved. The Average African American is at least 30% European. African Americans are also mixed with Native American blood. Black Americans can have 2 Darkskinned Black Parents & look almost completely White because of European Blood from 100 yrs ago that was forced upon a Maternal African Ancestor. We are all "Mixed".

@Ysmn012 , STOP deluding yourself, you sound confused, African Americans have less than 15% white blood from hundreds of years ago, and their dark brown / brown skinned with Afro kinky hair and some African features, their still black, anything outsde of that is a biracial / mulatto multiracial WHITE person period., 95% of lightskins in America are biracial WHITES, their anther species to black African Americans.

@Ysmn012 Not true and in any event- irrelevent. Bi-raciality is a term of exactness. It is based on parentage not on ancestry. If you have one parent of one race and another of another race, you are bi-racial. Period. You choose to construct what I call a social identity and acknowledge one of your parts of your racial background but heredity doesnt lie and biology doesn't lie.

The fact that many Black people have some degree of European Blood or Native American ancestry cant negate that.

When a person asked me "what are you?" it is actually a rude question to ask. People want to know what you are so they can know how to deal with or treat you. So it is best to not answer that question and ignore them. Not one race knows how to deal with a biracial or mixed person.

Dreddloxx! "Ebonesian" has nothing to do with "Ebonics". Another name would do. What is significant is the fact that Race is an invalid concept and we ought to reject it and stop it's use. Accepting the racial label compels us to strive towards being what the racial conceptualization said we were; low status and inferior. We continue to live down to that prescription.
