  • lol the guy on the left fell over

  • He mounted that DP-28 thing I dunno I learn from Call of Duty World at War.

  • Ok first, CoDWaW is the most unrealistic game ever

  • Yeah, I don't play that anymore. I play Halo!! Just kidding. More like Team Fortress 2.

  • Ever played Driver series??

  • he didnt fall

try shooting a machine gun standing

    youll fal backwards

he laid down so he could be more acurate and have a more stable firing position

  • Ok second, I've shot one and I didnt have to lay down

  • a DP-28?

yeah you are right you wont fall down. but if you want the best acuracy and as a said before, a stable firing position, then lying prone is the best way to go. Plus you have a lower profile making you harder to hit.

if you shoot a machine gun on automatic whil standing the recoil from the gun will ride it up and soon you will be shooting an anti aircraft gun.

if you dont want that you lay down. simple.

  • Ok wait, that would be correct but whenever I started firing to high i just re-aim the gun. Simple. Either way what you said is pretty much all true.

  • Did you shoot a MMG with a high ROF??? If so, you're right, but don't think you have.

  • Ive shot MMGs with faster ROFs than that.

  • Ohh, so you got what I meant, then you DO know about guns. What gun was it?? Because WWII guns had a lot more recoil than those now.

  • True, very true.

But for the record I shot the M249 SPW.

Yeah I guess you are right, some LMGs had higher kickback in WW2

  • MMGs, LMGs are light machine guns like the BAR or StG 44. The SAW and other modern guns have been somehow (don't ask how) made to have less recoil.

  • probably because they are newer and better design

  • @jrriojase

The StG44 was not a light machine gun. It fired an intermediate round, making it the first assault rifle. Normally I'm not a stickler about otherwise unimportant nomenclature, but the StG was never used as a support weapon.

  • I know it was the first assault rifle. I knnow it was man portable and used by Panzergrenadiers and other infantry.

    It couldn't be mounted.

  • very nice clip

  • Nice, it's short but looks real.

  • too short cool still

  • We are not happy with this clip either. We will try to do much better next time.
